ASURION 3 Year Housewares Protection Plan ($200 - $249.99)

I purchased a warranty from this company along with the dehumidifier I was purchasing (replacing). I selected this company because I didn't see the Square Trade Company which I had used with my first purchase of a like product. On the same day, I found the Square Trade Company plan on this site. Since I had good support from Square Trade in the past, I bought their policy and canceled the one from Asurion. I notified Asurion the same day of the purchase to cancel their policy. It was canceled but they say it might take 2 or 3 billing cycles for the reversal of the credit card charge which is totally unacceptable; it could and should have been done immediately. To make matters worse, Chase which sponsors the Amazon card does not have any place on their website where you can dispute a charge. Looks like I won't be using the Chase card anymore either. :-(

ASURION 3 Year Housewares Protection Plan is well worth the price. Our dehumidifier quit working near the end of its factory warranty period. ASURION refunded the original cost within minutes of our request. I will continue to purchase Asurion protection plans in the future.

This product provides some good product warranty for a period after the original warranty expires.

If it does what it says that it is suppose to; it will be worth the purchase. I haven't had to use it yet.

Nice to be able to purchase protection for a piece of equipment that I will be running a lot during the humid summers.
