This book…amazingly cuteeee
This book I loved it. I’m a sucker for books like these. I love the length of it even tho it’s on the shorter side. I finished it in two hours. I couldn’t put it done just because of how amazing the characters were. Sure it’s a typical book but I love that is it. It’s a book where it gave me a break from the roller coaster of emotions. Man this book really is great.

I'll Be Swooning Over This Book for a While
This book will have you smiling the whole time. Seriously. There is just something about an enemies-to-lovers, bad boy, quarterback trope that I just love. This book took the best parts of these tropes and presented them on a silver platter. It was cheesy, but not too cheesy. Cliche, but in a way that made me grin. And completely endearing.Somehting that I loved about this book was that the main characters were doing more than just living their lives and falling in love. They were working on a song for a big celebration. I was a little scared of this being "just another sports romance" so the music aspect was a nice surprise. As well, I liked the depth to both Audrey and Collin that was shown. They each had family issues and personal challenges to go through in this book. I loved seeing them change and grow and helping each other along the way.I was sad for a hot second that we didn't get to know Audrey's best friends better, but it looks like they're each going to get their own books in the series. While I would have liked more screen time for them in this book, I can now see why they didn't get it. This just makes me that much more excited to read the other books in the series now.Overall, I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a sweet, cute, and slow-burn romance between two truly likable characters. I'm so glad there are five books in this series because I want to soak up all the writing by Andersen!

Really cute story filled with plenty of swoon-worthy moments!
I really enjoyed this story and read it in just a few days because the characters were so captivating! I loved watching them develop and change from the typical stereotypes (like Collin, for example, quickly becoming so much more than a typical football star). Opposite him, I really enjoyed Audrey's honesty and relatable innocence. This book has so much in it and I would recommend to anyone into sweet young adult stories.

Typical YA romance but it was ok
Typical YA rom com type book. You have the head cheerleader who is a total brat but really just a misunderstanding. Then you have the jock quarterback with the reputation to upkeep but really has a musical side. This was a nice fluffy read and had its sincere learning moments. I did find it a little unbelievable that Audrey realized all her faults and easily changed so quickly when Collin called her out on it. It seemed like the author just wanted to wrap things up quickly. It was ok.

I liked it a lot
Fast paced I thought. But loved it. I needed a book like this to get me back into reading after the smut rut lol, it’s worth a read

Keep them coming
I always enjoy a book that causes some angst as it means I am feeling for the characters. The end was not quite put together right for me, can’t quite put my finger on it, maybe elements were rushed but enjoyed the rest. Now on to the next book in the standalone series.

All the warm fuzzies!
Cute, well-written story playing with some familiar tropes:- A game of Truth or Dare gone awry? Check.- Mean-girl head cheerleader? Check.- A never-been kissed heroine and a bad-boy star quarterback? Check.- Forced to work together on a school project? Check.- Family drama galore? Check. This was a fun and enjoyable story with likeable characters (both main characters and supporting cast), and even though both Audrey and Collin are dealing with some serious issues, this story is still a sweet YA romance that delivers a Hallmark-worthy happy end and gives you all the warm fuzzies (raccoon pun not intended). This is the first book I've read by this author, but it sure won't be the last. :)
