Yankee CandleNorth Pole Scented, Classic 22oz Large Jar Single Wick Candle, Over 110 Hours of Burn Time

I purchase a lot of candles. Yankee and other brands too. This is the best candle I have ever purchased. The scent is wonderful without being overwhelming.

I only buy Yankee Candles... yes they are more expensive, but you get what you pay for. They last longer and smell wonderful. A friend of mine had a candle burning at her house one Christmas. When we walked into her hallway it smelled like a candy cane... I asked her what that wonderful smell was and she showed me the North Pole Yankee Candle.. I was hooked from that moment. I can't tell you how many of these candles I have purchased from Amazon.com and have given to family and friends as gifts. Amazons prices are a little less than what I would get in a regular store and anyway, I can't find North Pole in any store in my area anymore. Some candles are sickingly sweet or very strong.. this one is perfect and doesn't assult the senses.You will love, love it...Christine C. Schubert

My favorite smell

I was disappointed with the candle. The candle had no scent at all, it had changed color and there was a crack running through the candle and it had separated from the jar, itself. I normally love Yankee Candles. After some research and checking out the pour date on the bottom of the candle, I discovered the candle was 10 years old and had clearly been sitting on a shelf for a very long time. No wonder it had no smell and the candle was defective . I was extremely disappointed with this purchase. This was intended as a Christmas gift for my sister but had to be returned.

This candle is disappointing for a yankee candle. Although the scent is great I literally have to put my nose 6 inches above it while burning to smell anything. Was hoping for so much more.

NORTH POLE is one of the fragrances in the Yankee Candle Festive Collection and is officially described as being "What holiday dreams are made of . . . a sweet blend of icy cool mint and sugary rich vanilla cream". I just love the combination of the icy and energetic peppermint , with the soft and creamy vanilla undertone - I could eat this candle. Other people compare North Pole to a now-rare Yankee Festive fragrance Jack Frost.As with all Yankee candles, the entirety of the wax is perfumed; I've used some candles where the fragrance burns up before the candle does, but that is not the case here. The fragrance lasts as long as the candle does and is strong enough to travel over the house. I even catch occasional wafts of the perfume whilst the candle is unlit.

Wow was looking for this as a Xmas gift for a friend, it is quite a rare one, when I saw it I had to get it. When it arrived I opened it and my good I loved it so much I ordered another so I could have one to. Great price as its a rare one.

Seems to be quite hard to get a hold of this variety, which is a shame as it's lovely subtle mix if mint and vanilla. Not overpowering like many of the Christmas cinnamon and spice based ones.

I Love this fragrance, after burning it over the X-mas holidays i can finally say I have found my favourite Yankee seasonal scent. Peppermint and vannila combine to create a marvalous aroma that doesn't smell too strong but lingers even after you have blown the candle out. My friends and family all commented on it when they came round will be buying this again.
