Favorite winter work boots
These rugged boots are comfortable, durable, and worth every penny. I work in a wet/spray environment and I never worry about slipping with the traction on wet floors and snowy lots. They are a little heavy (not a complaint, just a fact) and I always feel steady and supported when hustling for work. I highly recommend these as work boots if you are concerned about traction, comfortable soles, and never worrying about wet feet again.

great boot
I have been wearing boots for most of my working life, I'm 53yrs and this boot I will say is the best I have owned even better than redwing but then I suppose it depends on the type of work you do like I would not use them for logging they have boots for that. I'm on concrete, metal stares, ladders, and walk about three miles or 6000 steps a day at work according to a pedometer. I do electrical maintenance and have been wearing these boots for about 2 months and have had no foot pain problems. okay now you need to realize that the insert will only last maybe about 6months and it will need to be replaced, as with any other shoe/ boot to maintain comfort, the other thing I recommend is to not use the laces that come with this boot they are too thin so they will hurt when you try to pull them tight. I recommend using 550 paracord cut to the same length as the original lace's, and purchase a small bag of shoe lace metal tip bullets with a crimper for about 15 bucks, and make your own boot laces. you'll be able to pull the laces tight and paracord grips to its self so it holds snug. After that you'll have an awesome pair of boots. I know it sucks to do extra but that's the way it is if you want the best comfort.

1st work boot
Gift for my son who started an electromechanical job. He reports he loves them, comfortable, fits great. Two months into the job and he still says they're great.

Rugged Flex 6" Composite Toe Work Boot
I have owned two pairs of Magnum Stealth Force 6.0 SZ CT. 6" Size Zip, Composite Toe work boots with "Kick Pad" (behind heel reinforcing). Great boots. I decided to change it up with the Carhartt Rugged Flex 6" Composite Toe work boot. I am thoroughly pleased.Of the main features the Magnum Stealth Force had that attracted me was the side zip. However, the side zip never really stood out as one of the boots strengths. The side zip is perhaps not as functional as one would expect (i.e. you still need to untie and loosen the laces to remove). The Kick Pad, obviously has its benefits in use. Certainly solid boots, indeed. The Carhartt Rugged Flex 6" Composite Toe work boot not only has the "Kick Pad" as represented by a reinforced outer heel, but also incorporates an outer reinforced toe pad. A feature I really like in a set of Wenger hiking boots I own that are not dissimilar to Keens toe reinforcing.Personally, I went with the 13 Wide. I felt that the little extra toe box width would serve me well. I was pleasantly surprised that the wide version did not create a situation where my foot was able to "float" in the boot, which would obviously create issues during strenuous wear situations.Additionally, I had purchased a set of cushioning insoles thinking that the stock ones would not provide enough comfort for my feet in extended wear situations. I was wrong. The stock insoles are nicely cushioned and quite comfortable. I will replace the stock insoles with the new insoles at a later date when it becomes necessary.Overall, very pleased with the construction, durability, look and feel of the Carhartt Rugged Flex 6" Composite Toe work boots. I anticipate them being long lasting and will not hesitate to buy another pair in the future.

Comfortable Light Weight Not-Long Lasting Perfect for the Walking Tech
These are some of the most comfortable work boots you can buy. They are light weight, hard toe, and non slip. These are perfect boots if your job requires a lot of walking but maybe not a whole lot of wear. I am a vending technician, and these are great for long walks through factories, dropping parts, and heavy items on my foot.Basically I think these are designed for technicians of all kind in mind. Can't recommend them enough if your in a grade that requires a lot of walking, with some minor danger.

Disappointed
Searching for a work boot this boot caught my eye specially for a name brand like Carhartt. This boots appearance seemed rough and rugged made of good quality a respectable brand. I figured I would get more value for my money ,but after 4 months of mild work (cause let's be honest I don't work that hard ) these boots let me down coming unglued where the boot meet the soles. Personally I am in disbelief purchased a boot over 150 dollas, a respectable name brand this wouldn't happen boy was I wrong. I am currently weighing my options to trying and get these boots repaired or replaced

My Husband Loves Them
This is the third pair of Carhartt boots that I have bought my husband over the last five-or-so years. He has a rather large foot (14 or 15 depending on the boot) and it is often difficult to find a comfortable boot in his size. He's on his feet everyday for long hours and he has found that these boots are the most comfortable from all the others he has tried. The boots usually last 12 - 15 months before I have to purchase new boots because he simply puts a LOT of "miles" on them. (not the boots fault)

100% quality.
I work in mining and these boots are awesome. Unparalleled traction and easy to clean the tread. Break in is about 4 days. I haul fuel so break in will be shorter for an on your feet job. I’ve had boots in the three and four hundred dollar range and was never this happy with them.

Very comfortable and relatively light for a safety boot!
Got these for a steal of a deal! I read some of the reviews that were negative but ordered them anyway. Based off of walking around the house with them they are arguably the most comfortable work boots I have ever worn. I work in a production plant where they are going to always be inside. So as for durability I’m not really going to be too hard on them. As for the sizing, they are pretty much right on. I usually take between 11 and 12 for work boots and the 11.5 fit just right. They stay on my feet and do not slide around. The laces are a bit thinner so we will see how they hold up. I will probably purchase a thicker set of laces. To be honest, a lot of people who have issues with boots “falling apart” are probably extremely hard on their boots. They’re not made of Kevlar. They are leather and manmade materials. I have done construction work and worked on concrete and even fighting fires and I never had a problem with any work boots I have ever purchased. I always have made sure to clean my boots and use mink oil and maintain them. I have a pair of Dakota steel toed boots I bought at Mark’s Work Wearhouse that I have had for 3 years and besides some surface scratches and putting in a new insole, they are still in very good shape and I keep them in my rotation. Anyways, These boots are comfy and hopefully will hold up.

Sent me used shoes
They seem like a nice shoe, I was sent shoes that are very obviously second hand however. The soles are worn with the rubber nubs completely worn down in some areas. The Carhartt logo is stained with oil, the toes have dirt stained on them and there are wrinkles in the shoe from wear. Very disappointed to spend $300 delivered on a pair of shoes and be sent something in this condition.

Not very durable
Seams on heel cap broke after a couple of weeks. Was able to get them patched up at bootmakers, so they are good for now. Great apart from that, but would have hoped not to need repairs so quickly after purchase
