The Ultimate University Survival Guide: The Uni-Verse

This book is so brilliantly written. As well as having cracking humour, the advice that I can take away from it to apply to myself when I start university next year is indispensable. Everything from packing lists and recipes to new drinking games and getting along with your housemates, I cannot recommend this book enough. Also, knowing that all the advice is coming from a recent graduate as oppose to someone who was at university in 1993 makes me think "ah this chap knows what he's on about". Thank you Jack Edward's!

Although I am going into my second year of university, I still purchased this book - not only to have a little nosy, but to support Jack too. I have loved his YouTube videos from day one so felt right to purchase this.I have not properly read it - but of the sections I have read, they are funny, witty and so Jack!! There are sections for applicants and first years, and even sections to help pick dissertation titles - which I will be reading in a bit more detail soon. Only issue I have is, I wish I had it to help with my uni applications or even last year :(

This book is absolutely amazing. I'm going to uni next year and although I know the 'basics', there are so many small details that I was slightly worried about. Jack has written this book so so well - the language and references are hilarious and you can definitely see his personality shine through! It covers the 'big topics' such as Freshers' week and societies, but also topics that aren't spoken about as much, such as drinking games and basic survival tips :)Thank you, Jack, for making me a lot less anxious about going to uni. If you're going to uni, I can't recommend this book enough. I read it in one sitting as it was just so easy to read and entertaining !! I can tell a huge amount of effort has been put into making it and it was worth every minute of hard work :)

This book is a very well layed out guide that takes you through everything you need to know about university life or being a student in general. I personally am not applying to university but still found it useful in preparation for applying for drama schools.This guide is written in such a friendly way without it being patronising and really helped put me at ease with any concerns I had and has made me so much more prepared for adult life. I'd recommend for if you want help in building a successful application and getting in to doing the general household chores and having the best time at university.

I am using this book because I'm going to uni and I wish to learn and know things before arriving futhermore I wish to reasure my parents of uni life.This book is excellent! Easy to understand and easy to read! Love that there are recipies and lists etc which will be very usefull for students!
