FlitzGun Bore Cleaner - 7.6 oz. Bottle

This is an outstanding product for removing crud from the bore of any firearm. I used it to clean an old WW2 Luger that was really filthy, and it did a wonderful job. I doubt if the pistol had been cleaned since the war. Since then, I have used it to clean many of my newer firearms, and the results are always good. I will continue to use this product, and I recommend to anyone wanting an effective way of cleaning the bore.

There are better products out there for modern firearms but for a pair of nickel plated colts it was slow but did the job

Nothing better than glitz to make metal shine. Cleans and shines the bore better than new.

I attempted to use this Flitz product to clean the bore of a handgun. I followed all the instructions prior to use. I found the product to be much too thick for the intended application. The bore eventually got clean, but much time was wasted trying to remove the residue of the product from the bore itself. I use the Flitz polish and I'm quite pleased with that. I gave this bore cleaner to a friend who tried it once with the same result.
