I won one of these carriers in a giveaway on Instagram by Condor and loved it so much I came to Amazon to buy another. You can use it by itself by adding a strap to the D rings. It’s surrounded by Molle points, so add any EDC pouch or tool to the carrier. Of course you can attach to a backpack as well. The biggest Pro about owning this is it opens up completely! Making it easy to clean or if you keep your water bottle in a camp cup, you can remove it effortlessly! No more trying to work the cup and lid out of a tube.

wish it was a little stiffer to hold its shape better. thin and flimsy
otherwise, seems good quality.

Good as a standalone bottle pouch...Really bad if you want to put it on your backpack.
Bag is bit bigger in size compared to Camelbak Max Gear pouch, even though on paper, it was stated smaller....which might not be a bad thing for some people. Looks good with laser cut molle. Now, for the main issues ....1. Does NOT come with mod straps( CamelBak is half the price, and has straps). It needs 8inch straps for secure fit, however neither Condor sells that (big disappointment), nor could I find any good 3rd party straps. So bought mod straps separately of 6" and 4". I tried to weave it to my Rush 12 bag. 6 inch straps are too short for this, and pouch keeps flopping. So tried to put 2x 4 inch straps on each side....fits almost perfectly, but it took me more than 30 min for that....add to that the fact that it's a big hassle trying to squeeze two 4" straps for same side. The bag and pouch, both were completely empty, still it takes too much effort to put it securely. Sometimes i felt my Rush 12 molle rows might tear apart due to the force I have to put.2. Bag already came at a hefty price price of 25+ USD, then you have factor in additional cost of buying mod straps(and shoulder strap/pad if you want to carry it standalone). At this price point, I would rather buy some other product.3. Good concept that the product can be opened completely as opposed to some other bottle pouches, however zippers are not smooth, and they get stuck around the corners most of the time.4. Looks too bulky when added to the side of the backpack..... compared to this, my Camelbak MaxGear looks much sleeker.5. Single stitching at most of the places.Overall, if you want to use it as a standalone bottle holder or similar for small hikes/trips, it works great...as it holds a larger volume flask than CamelBak. It's light semi-insulated/padded . Has a lightweight grab handle, and loop for velcro patches, with D-rings on the side. You can attach small pouches on the sides to make it a great trip pouch. So, 5 stars for that. But the moment you decide to put it on your backpack, it's shortcomings are obvious.Minus points for no support from Condor regarding strap purchase, and exclusion of shoulder strap even at 25+ USD price tag. Another Minus for stitching and low insulation. Quality is good though.I will be returning this item, and the additional straps.

Awesome 1L nalgene-style bottle holder
I liked the first one of these I bought so much I bought another.I have a couple of the zip-to-close Camelbak pouches for their 1L bottles, and I wanted a couple more - to hold tools this time instead of bottles. I read in a couple of the Amazon reviews that - on paper at least - they are the same size as the competing Camelbak pouches but are in fact larger. Seeing them and holding them side by side I can confirm this: I haven't measured the two but for sure there is more usable space in the Condor pouches. Plus they crush down more readily in case you need to use them as a stuff sack, which I do.Coupled to their compressibility, the strap on top makes them an excellent grab pouch that you stuff inside of another pouch for a quick-detach scheme. In the picture, I have my two Condor pouches (green and brown) inside of another fixed-to-structure pouch set. I unzip the outer pouch, use the web strap to grab them easily and out they come, easy-peasy. I haven't seen anything similar on the market that works as well.

Good pouch....
Good pouch, bad zipper execution. If you have to open this pouch under direct fire keep your blade sharp.
