Should be used as decoration only!
Ordered in December. Oar was broken in box and the part that was broken was missing. The box was not even long enough to hold the original oar. Oh well. Returned it and received unbroken replacement. Thought all was good. 3 months later, used oar for first time yesterday and it snapped in half on the third stroke. Half floated away, other half in my hand. rescued the floating half and poled my way back to the launch. My product return window is closed so I guess I'll try my "FiberFix" tape. The box says "now you can fix anything" We'll see...

Solid Oars
These oars are well made and of good quality.I needed them only as back-ups to my electric trolling motor, so hopefully I will never need to use them.

These are your typical oars. They are heavy duty and have used them to move a 16 ft skiff.

Recieved these oars today and they look good except for two issues
Recieved these oars today and they look good except for two issues. The handle grips are far from being uniform ! Also, how can one oar be 1 " longer than the other ? We'll see how they perform, will update later. Personally, I feel it would be wise to spend more money and get a top of the line product.

Both oars broke while rowing.
For $80+ these should have a lifetime warranty. As they get returned from breaking, maybe the company will make a better product. This happened right after they were installed unfortunately they didn't get used until after the 30-day warrenty period.
