It will with the adapter plates they supply. I had to extend the primary throttle shaft and use parts off of my Mazda carburetor so I could use the idle kick up dashpot because I have an automatic transmission and air conditioning. The vacuum switches that came on the pick-up work great the bracket the dashpot is mounted on needs to be placed on the back of a 1/8th inch plate and raised about 3/4 of an inch, I made my own shaft and coupler, the shaft on the weber is m8×100 . find a piece of brass you can drill a 17/64ths hole in so you can tap it out to m8×100 then but a 3" 5/16 brass bolt cut the threaded part off thread it to m8×100 cut off the head of the bolt, then thread it all the way. Take the two parts the dashpot operates from the Mazda shaft and fit a bushing under the one with the round hole there is one that is stainless that is two sided depending on the length of your coupler cut the end toward the carb to line up the eccentric with the dashpot, then flatten the new shaft on two sides so the part that locks the shaft can go to the side the the bushing. After you finish filing the shaft you will have to chase the threads. Take the m8 nut off of the weber shaft. Make a note of the flat surface of the weber shaft. Drill a hole for a set screw in the end facing the weber. The self taping screws from the Mazda choke ring work great. Be careful not to tighten the weber shaft, in other words leave a tiny bit of play in your throttle, wiggle it before you remove the nut, when you clock the set screw, you may have to back it off from snug and use a shim. Now clock your new shaft so the set screw is sticking out about 3/8ths and lose with the Mazda dashpot connected mark the coupler for the flat part of the shaft put in a drift pin or Carter key put the nut on. Then back the shaft set screw on the kick up eccentric completely. Engage the parking brake chock the front tire. With the engine at idle get someone to shift the pick-up into drive the dashpot will enguage but the set screw wont be touching, slowly screw the set screw in until you get 800 rpm. If you have a standard transmission, with a/c you will need to enguage the a/c compressor so the vacuum selinoid feeds vacuum to the dashpot.  If you are running a standard transmission and no a/c then disregard everything I just said. Make sure you have a new fuel filter, and smoke test for vacuum leaks. If you have a pacesetter header and fresh rebuild make sure you have a fresh coil and your distributor is throwing out a hot spark. You may have to go to a larger jet size depending on your mods. The 38 is set up to handle mods on the Mazda 2.2 like header and a 40 thousands oversize cylinder bore. You'll see when you read up on the b2200 weber conversion on the Mazda community forums.
