It's a beautiful file folder and material is durable and water resistant. Just know that the folder is not as expandable since it's limited by the fixed bottom. Depending on your intended use, the volume of files/paper this can hold may or may not be be satisfactory to you. It was not for me. The bottom measures 3cm/1.18" but the two sides take up a lot of that. I would say 150 pages or less would be ideal, if you put more pages in it, the elastic strap will begin to stretch and probably won't last as long as it should.

We bought a folder like this from Staples for our 8th grade daughter and it fell apart within two months. This one feels sturdier but she hasn’t had for very long. Admittedly she puts a lot of papers in it, but she likes the look and the feel of it. We shall see!
