Solid Deal!
I LOVE this board. I'm a recent college grad who had a summer job on campus, and I used this board to help me get to work on time. This is AWESOME. Easy to carry, solid ride, and I always get compliments on the retro design. I think this is a good skateboard for any rider, regardless of experience. I've been riding for years and this is by far my favorite board, however I will note that I really only use my boards for cruising.A few things to note before you buy this:1) THIS IS A SMALL BOARD. When I got this in the mail, it was a lot smaller than what I was used to. I'm about 5'6 and pretty thin, and it took me a few weeks to get the hang of it. But if you're riding this every day I'm sure you'll pick it up faster than me!2) GET YOUR TOOLS. You might have to loosen the trucks a bit. When I got it, it was pretty tight so I couldn't make turns that well and would often fall. Loosening the trucks helped a lot.3.) SAVE YOUR MONEY. If you're stuck between this and a penny board, get this one. I have both and couldn't tell you the difference other than the fact that they have different logos at the bottom. This is cheaper and rides just as well. I always recommend this to my friends who are new to boarding.

Simply a great board
Great cruising board for all ages and skate styles. When I was younger I used to skateboard a lot. I grew older and started long boarding, then bought a smaller longboard for school. I came about penny style boards when I heard they are a compact way to travel around. Airports. Parking lots. Down the street. Whatever it may be.I decided on a ridge 22 inch board after reading some positive reviews. Then the color I want (orange board green wheels) popped up for $29. Too good a deal to pass up.I'm incredibly surprised. It handles great, is super light, and it build well. The board flexes a little, and I'm 6 foot, 140 lbs. So fairly tall and lean. The flex is nice. Makes going over bumps and cracks easier. The trucks and wheels needed to be loosened a little bit. But not by much. I would assume they would loosen up on their own over time. The bearings are abec, which are good solid bearings that sounds well. I'll probably upgrade to reds, but that's personal preference, and I happen to have an extra set lying around.Other reviews have said they break... Are build shoddily... Are too small. Whatever the case may be. Yes it's small. It's a 22 inch board. However I still find it nice and comfortable to ride. Even for longer periods of time. I have no fear mine is going to break. Everything about it feels very solid. And the build quality is much much better than I expected for the price I paid.If you have been considering getting a penny style board. Look no further. Get a ridge board. From somebody who has had many different boards over the years, from enjoi, plan B, sector 9, and arbor. This board is the real deal. I thought I might just try it out before getting a penny Australia board, but now I would be completely happy with purchasing more of these, anyday.

AMAZING PRODUCT
I got this for myself. I am 16 and ride this board to school and home every day. Extremely smooth, great quality, and made for cruising. The Abec-7 bearings don’t spin very long when I just spin the wheels, but I practically never have to push when riding. I have ONE warning: it is a little difficult to adjust the trucks because after a bit of loosening you can hand loosen it easily. I have my board just beyond hand loosening tightness and it happens to be perfect for the way I ride. So this board is perfect for me, and I highly recommend it to you!

My best amazon purchase to this day!
I've been using this board on a daily basis for months now and it never failed me. I was initially disappointed by how the bearings were not spinning so well, but once I cleaned them and used the board for about a month, it started riding pretty damn fast! Color selection is pretty cool as well!

THE BEST MINI CRUISER PERIOD!
THE BEST MINI CRUISER PERIOD! Made in the UK, not China like Penny and its knockoffs. My bf is a life long skateboarder and this is his favourite board to ride. High quality, glows bright, and a steal at $30.Great customer service. One of the wheels was a bit wonky, but when I contacted them they were very apologetic and immediately sent a new set of wheels and bearings. I would recommend them over Penny boards to anyone.

Its solid for the money
Bought for my daughter 8yrs old works ok but trucks are so tight even when bolt is totally loose she can't get much carving type of turning out of it.also axles on mine slightly short with a washer on each side of the wheel barely enough thread to get nut on far enough without impeeding the wheel from rolling one is basically hand tight.still a good board for her to learn on and I sometimes use it instead of my street deck when walking the dog just cause it is fun to ride.

Get it!
Love this thing! A little more bendy than the Penny I rode but not too bad. Weighing 180lb it doesn't flex more than an inch and a half when standing right in the middle, and even then the ride ain't to rickidy. Their rubber seems a little less grippy than I'm used to, but grip tape don't cost much to fix that, plus it looks cool on it. Love the bearings and wheels it came with, I was gonna put my These on it but I'm not sure now. They're super gummy but don't pit too hard, and the abec 7's in them are super smooth.Buy one man, just as good as penny but with free shipping

Kids seem to like it and it a good secondary skateboard
Kids seem to like it and it a good secondary skateboard. I also bought the larger Big Brother, which both of the boys seem to like a little bit more. Easier to ride.

Really great board after a few adjustments...
You can get a really nice carve going down a slight slope! (after making these adjustments)* Wheels were slightly too tight which was affecting the spin of the bearings.* Trucks were way too tight. I loosened the kingpin nuts by 3 full turns to get the board turning nicely. For a child they'd need to be loosened even more than that.* Installing some skateboard grip tape is easy using a coarse file and sharp knife. If you are brand new to skating or buying this for a child you could stick with the stock bearings. If you have some experience then I'd recommend upgrading the bearings as the stock ones are quite slow.

10/10 would twist my ankle again
Status update: went to test the board out in my break, its pretty good quality and damn good, but 10 years since I last jumped on a board and twice the weight, I struggled and twisted my ankle😭

Decent for a 10 year old, awful for adults
The product description is all rainbows and is written in such a way that is somehow insures you that you're going to purchase a quality product that is made with quality in mind. In reality, once I received the board, I quickly found out that the wheels barely spin and when going downhill it would actually slow down instead of go faster. The board itself has a massive flex to it which makes it quite unstable and it's also very slipery. Also there is no max weight specification in the description but you get a sticker on the back of the board that sais max 80kg. If it was sold as a kids board I would say it's decent enought for a 10 year old to learn how to handle a board but due to the fact that it's branded as a quality product overall, my opinion is that this is a poor product that is over-marketed.

Bit small for me and not the fastest but couldnt break it and certainly fatser than walking
Good value for money how ever bit small for adult with size 9s or above Id reccomend the next size up.Hard wearing I put some real down force in the middle and it didnt snap.Claims to have decent bearings in but I found they slowed up in less than a day and dont spin all that great would recommend getting some bones redz like I did makes it a whole new board.Got me to work and back and faster than walking.Would not recommend to beginners as its quite small so not much room for error on leaning too far back or forwards, get the next size up. Even with the bigger wheels any stones that were to big could send me flying so smooth roads only

Fun
First of all the board over all is meeh. Bearings on the board are crap. The board feels too flexible and I am only 66kg. Second of all, the truck is crap, one of the end of the truck I went to try out a new bearing in, it wouldn't fit. I look closer to the truck and foundthat there was extra metal that was soldered on to making it hard for you to put new bearings. Old bearing had bigger hole so it was easy for that to fit through. Overall I'd say it was definitely not worth the money I spent-----------------After riding it for over an hour I am starting to love it

Nice deck with some shoddy parts.
The board and wheels are of nice quality and are not too different from those made by Penny with this being much cheaper. However I was unimpressed by the quality of the bearings and trucks. The bearings although brand new and fresh don't roll as well as a set of old bearings filled with grime that I took out of an old board. Another issue was that there was only one speed ring (washer) for each wheel although it wasn't much effort for me to swap them out with a set from my old board. The main problem was that the casting of trucks was so poor that rough pieces of metal stuck out where the speed rings sit preventing them from turning and functioning. I did solve this problem by filing down the trucks however I do not expect to have to do this. All in all not a bad product but be aware that some parts swapping and a bit of filing may be necessary to get the board to roll nicely.

Ahhhhh! FUN!
These are just amazing. I've not rode a skateboard for about 5 years, but after about an hour on this i felt right at home.Small - excellent portability.Nibble - easy to turn.Speed - this thing can go pretty quick on smooth surfaces! So happy. For reference i'm 24, average build and weight around 75kg and its fine when rode with proper foot placement. Bows if you put all your weight in the middle but thats not how you ride it - plus it still doesnt look like it would break!

Skateboard - Ridge Retro Cruiser Board
Thsi was an Xmas gift for my 8 year old daughter. The product was delivered on time (thank you), and was suitably packed. This is a great 'penny board' which is well made and suits my daughter who is just getting to grips with skateboarding. She has been out on it a couple of times and has found it really easy to use. It is well made and the trucks and wheels are good quality. I am 76kg and it held my weight although I would recommend it for someone much lighter.

As described, does the job well.
I bought this as a fun play-thing. I only used it for a few days, but it held up very well. It didn't break under my weight (70KG). I should have borrowed one off a friend but this one didn't put me much out of pocket. From someone who's a complete novice to skateboards, it's good value.

the trucks are not great quality and very awkward to change the bushings
The deck came with deep cuts in it, not all the wheels had washers, 1 wheel had 2 washers, 2 wheels had 1 washer, 1 wheel had no washers. the trucks are not great quality and very awkward to change the bushings.I like the wheels and form of it, very fun to ride, but over all I'd get a genuine penny next time.

Fantastic for a first-timer
Absolutely superb. I've never ridden a board of any sort before, but I easily learned to ride this in an hour, I'm 10 stone and it takes my weight perfectly well with little flex. It steers well, and it looks great!

Very good!
Now it's not as good as an original penny board and I'm a very experienced skater, it's very good quality for the price and rides smoothly. Looks wise it grabs a lot of attention and looks real good on photos. It's sturdy and you feel safe riding even in rain. Very happy customer here and definitely would buy from this company again.

9 year boy loves it, his friends all wanted one, but he said he meant he wanted a concave trick one. I told him he can do the tricks I use to do in the 70's, but he wasn't impressed although he said it ok it was my bad(me reminiscing of the good old days) so I bought him this Osprey Pride OSX Pride Skateboardhttp://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B008D2DR20/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_0Again he was the envy of his friends but he only does differently on it is a kick flip...no other tricks?

Great product
Went on the board, can't complain, been ripping around campus for the latter part of my evening and had some friends have a go too. If you know how to stand on the board, then it's a great cheap little thing to nip about and have some fun on. It does flex in the middle, but then you aren't meant to stand with all of your weight in the middle of the board. Nothing broken yet, will update after about a month of use.
