Works perfectly and as advertised!
We purchased this to replace our old exterior lighting with a lower voltage set of pathway lights. Installation was simple, and the unit seems sturdy enough. I’ll do a follow-up if there’s any is any issue with longevity. So far so good.

Great AC transformer!
Nice looking and well built power supply. We have a Fiber Optic Christmas Tree that uses a 12 volt AC power supply. The old one had a transformer failure, the new one looks like a great replacement. I hooked everything up and it worked fine, so we should be all set for next Christmas.

Three unit crapped out after less than a year of operation
Third (and last one I will buy) that failed after less than a year of operation. It was used to low voltage landscape lights totaling about 48 watts.

This is the transformer to get if you are using it with a smart outlet.
I bought this transformer to power some outdoor lights and control it with Alexa and a smart outlet. It works great and the lights come on instantly, even before Alexa can say "ok". The transformer appears to be well-made, is weather-proof, and was a piece of cake to install.I had originally tried a different transformer that had a photo senor and this delayed the lights by 30-60 seconds. I don't need the photo sensor because I either turn them on by asking Alexa to do it or I can set a schedule.
