I don't like them
I've installed the 3/4 round balusters before by making a jig and using a drill press to counterbore holes in the wood. It is difficult and easy to mess up. I saw these and decided to give them a try since it appeared to be easier. Honestly I don't think they saved me any time. The positioning of these has to be perfect. It's hard to get them seated all the way down. The fit of the balusters to these adapters is too tight. I had to use ratchet straps to clamp the rails together. Then used a 3lb hammer and block of wood to beat them into a fully seated position. If I build anymore steps this way I'll go back to a jig and the drill press.

Becareful of the stair angle these will work with
No doubt a quality product but wish the supplier would state what angle of staircase these work with. They are not adjustable for angle so this is IMPORTANT information that is missing from the description. If my calculations are correct they seem to work with a 26 deg staircase which is pretty flat. There is obviously a tolerance in angle but I do not know what that is. My stairs are 38 degs so had to return these as they just would not work. If the stairs are steeper than 26 degs you cant even alter the angle piece by filing as there is no "meat" to file away.

Use a screw gun with a clutch!!!!
They work well only with the posts from this company. I wouldn't recommend using them with anyone else's balusters. Also, they are very temperamental about screw tightness. If you over tighten in the slightest they just snap off. Use a screw gun with a clutch for best results. Also, the provided screws are way longer than necessary. I recommend switching them out for shorter wood screw.

Terrible product
Very difficult to install. Very tight fit. I had to pound each spindle. Very difficult to align the rails. I have 35 degree angle and this product made extremely difficult to put rail together.

BEWARE-you need twice as many of these compared to the number of spindles.
The listing is very misleading. I assumed these came in pairs, and thought When I ordered a pack of 50 that it was enough to install 50 spindles. It will only install 25, so now I’m delayed several days in finishing my job as I wait for the additional shipment. The listing should make this point a little more obvious.

Get rubber ones instead
They break pretty easy, we got some different ones that were more rubber like. They worked much better!

for shallow angle stairs only
Bought these for a regular stair inline (30-35 degrees) and they were way off. The angle is for a very shallow stair. (low slope) Buyer Beware!

Great for stairs.
Works great for stairs making that jub much easier. This same product can be used for deck rails, just don't use the angled part.

Work well
Happy with purchase. Be careful not to overtighten or they will crack. Much easier & quicker than drilling 2x4s for balusters.

Looks good but missing parts
I order the stair kit but only received 49 inserts for the baluster out of 50 and only 14 out of 50 sloped bases.
