Lasuens’ Bamboo Tranquility Comforter, all-season, king size, is sincerely utterly BLISSFUL!!! It really is sheer bliss!!! My husband and I are so incredibly happy with this purchase! A comforter purchase may not seem like a huge deal to many, but to us it really is vitally important to a great nights’ sleep!!! We’re both not that picky about much, with the exception of our bedding!!! We are decidedly extremely choosy about our sheets, comforter, and pillows!!! In the past, I have always been willing to pay whatever the cost for ultra luxurious goose down comforters and the highest count Egyptian cotton sheets; quality, softness, temperature control, and comfort were my only concerns! Then I found bamboo sheets with rave reviews, at about 1/5 of the price of our usual sheets! They were truly the coolest (temperature) and softest sheets I’ve ever owned! Because of the sheets, a few weeks ago, when I decided we needed a new comforter, I began looking for a 100% bamboo option! I found this Bamboo Tranquility Comforter by Lasuens, and so, so happy that I did! I read every single review, and because of a few who wrote of some comforters being delivered within unmarked boxes and with unmarked, tag-less comforters, which also didn’t have the feel and softness of bamboo, the first thing I did was check for Lasuens’ tag sewn into the comforter... and it was! I’m a really hot sleeper, regardless of the season! My husband is not, so for him, I chose for us to try the all season weight. As other reviewers wrote, the comforter is somewhat weighty, almost like a “weighted” blanket/comforter, but it’s definitely not too heavy! It is a rather comforting feeling to sleep with a little weight on you, though it’s a little difficult to explain why, it’s almost like a hug! The comforter is so incredibly soft, it reminds me of the softness of high quality silk, but definitely without the slippery feeling and irritating static electricity of silk! Now on to temperature control, it keeps you warm without being too warm, and also keeps you cool without being cold! In other words, the comforter has just about perfect temperature control! All in all, we love everything about this truly luxurious comforter, and the price is certainly reasonable as well!!! I highly recommend you give it a try, I’m sure you will love it as much as we do!!!

This comforter does have a lot of lint, fiber etc...which comes off in the wash. Please be sure to wash your China made products in HOT water before use. No telling what's coming over here. It's light weight and exactly what we wanted...sleeps cool and has nice comfort. However, it is not the size they have listed and ours is 7" smaller on the sides...makes a difference when on the bed. It should not shrink in the wash. None of my other bamboo has shrunk. I love it except for the smaller size.

Finally a bamboo filled comforter that doesn’t get me too hot! Having hot flashes Other comforters with polyester fill just don’t work for me. Needed a lightweight comforter that’s still warm and soft. Finally found it. Not thrilled it can’t be washed but will get a duvet.

This was by far the best comforter I’d ever used until I had it dry cleaned. All the fluffy bamboo fiber bunched up and the comforter is now lumpy and uncomfortable.

I normally hate sleeping with comforters / duvets because I sleep very hot. This is the first duvet I've used while sleeping where I didn't wake up from being way too hot and uncomfortable. Last night it got down to 40 degrees fahrenheit and the temperature was perfect for me. Was just warm :)Note I have the Queen Lightweight version (200 GSM)Was also looking for something without polyester / sustainable and the fact that it's 100% bamboo was excellent!Only regret was I wished I bought the King version even though I have a Queen bed currently. The extra $20 is worth it!

I am a hot sleeper so it's difficult for me to find bedding that works for me. I got the standard one and I really like it. I do not use a sheet in the summer but I do in the winter. Removing my sheet solved the overheating problem that I had the first night.-- was disappointed to wake up sweaty in the middle of the night as usual but once I tried it without my sheet, it was perfect. Ive survived the summer and 'm looking forward to having it all winter. I got a 100% cotton duvet cover for it and it is perfect. It's pretty luxurious I think.
