I don't know if this is the same as "Portrait Revollution; Inspiration from Around the World for Creating Art in Multiple Mediums and Styles." It looks very similar. Maybe someone can tell me.

Excellent. I have been painting and drawing for about 2 years now with all mediums . But I have a problem in my head it has to look like a photo. I'm pretty good with pencil and I can get a likeness in watercolour . But this book shows me it does not have to be a carbon copy to be a good portrait and it gives you examples of portrait of people drawn in different media and styles. This is good reference book with a few tips and ideas and I would highly recommend it

Page after page of portraits in a range of mediums and styles, with short tips and insights from artists from around the world who have contributed. It's particularly fascinating to see the way different artists have represented the same fellow artist. Great to keep on the coffee table and dip into.

As a one stop source for creative and imaginative portraits it’s the book I have long been looking for. I will be using it as an ideas book to explore media and styles.If anyone wants to get in to portraiture and needs some inspiration then join the revolution, buy the book and cast off your inhibitions, you have nothing to loose but your chains.
