Good wine for the price. It is much better when out of the bottle for a bit.

Gift for a friends 85th Birthday, had to be a special red wine as he gets gout. Even better that it came from a local place to his home. Unfortunately no message put on it so didn't know who sent it!

I have bought this wine many times. It is excellent, for the price, though I doubt I could ever give any wine 5 stars.It is a gorgeous wine which simply must be drunk slowly. It HAS to be decanted, we shall come to that in a moment, and at the very least one hour, probably two, before food or simply drinking on its own for pleasure. This is not any old wine, there is no "instant gratification, if you open the bottle, pour and drink. It changes with air.You do NOT need a fancy decanter, you could use a plastic kitchen jug, leave it for 60-120 mins and even pour back into the bottle before serving. Failt to do that, and you miss the excitement. just look at the sheer deep colour as you decant it. Ummm.

not opened as yet But have had thi before does not disapoint costly but worth it .delivery messy (post office) RM sadly.but all is good now jw.
