Easy page turner with a new twist on time travel
This is different type of book from Matt Reillys’usual ‘action-hero’ type feature. Instead you are drawn into his ability to write across multiple environments and concepts. Here within a New York setting a story is told full of spoilt super rich teenagers growing up amongst each other which suddenly takes an unexpected fictional and mystical route to include time travelling. The story is brilliantly told and I found it very hard to put down and classic Reilly style leaves room for future developments in what I’m sure will be another epic saga. The book leaves you wondering and guessing what will happen next. Thoroughly enjoyable read

I am definitely not in the youth bracket unfortunately but I do like and have read a number of Mathew reilly books. This one was very good and food for thought.I thought the plot very clever with it's twists and turns made you think, I found it very hard to put down, it was like watching a series on Netflix just watch another episode

Very good story
Very complex and interesting story. I'm not going to give any spoilers, although it is from a young person's perspective it is a great story for any age group. Well written and full of new ideas. I found myself looking up the places mentioned as it always seems better when real life locations are used. Fast paced and thought provoking made me think how I would cope with the same sits great book from a great author

A bit of a departure from Reillys other works.
This one was a bit of a departure for Reilly, not his usual action fare, but still enjoyable nontheless. Fans of the Scarecrow/Jack West novels like myself may find it hard to get into, but stick with it and the story holds up well.

Love Matt Reilly books anyway, but this was even more imaginative than ever. How does he do it
I would not class this as a teen book. Why do we always try to categorise everything? As a sixth year old bloke, the first quarter of the book was a little trivial, but necessary, as things learnt there are woven throughout the plot. Time travel can be a tricky subject, but mostly this was a creditable attempt. Matt Reilly is a master of the art of writing books which are unconstrained. I enjoyed this book and looked forward to reading it each day.

Different but great read
This is very different from the books of Matthews that I have read beforebut I found it really enjoyable, finished in two days. The story flows well and the characters are very believable and you just need to know things.work out. I would recommend this book to any age.

Disappointing
To me the book doesn’t work at all. I love Mathew Reilly’s books they are just so completely my sort of genre. Yet this doesn't really have a cohesive plot. The normally solid characters i would have expected were just unpleasant and mostly very offensive in a number of social areas. This is definitely NOT a book for a young person (teenager). If you are thinking of it as a gift I would recommend you read it first.
