Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye Volume 4

It's good but I have mixed feelings about it. This is where IDW introduces the concept of Transformers being mated to each other, similar to being married. That just feels like a really weird idea for non-sexual (as far as we know) beings. This volume even has Transformers saying "I love you" to each other, in an intimate way. Again, the idea of alien robots having romantic relationships with each other just seems really strange. But it does lend itself to good drama and good storytelling.The story here is really good. The art is good too, but they are trying to cram too much action and too many panels on to each page, which makes it harder to read. It's good though. Assuming you can get past the robot romance idea, it's recommended!P.S. I used to have the toy Rewind as a kid. I wish I still had it! It was pretty cool.

Seriously, what can I say about this book series that could ever own up to its awesomeness?Thus begins a convoluted tale, an epic quest (yes, I did use those words intentionally!) and the snark and snappy shots abound.In this series, you will run a gamut of emotions, but every book will leave you tasted-up for the next installment!

Great product at an excellent price.

Such good story telling! Do not buy this if you don't like crying over your comics. The amount of drama and emotion wrapped up in this one graphic novel is enough to make any hard core fan weep.

I have been a TF fan for many years, and MTMTE is the brightest in IDW's long running series.James Roberts creates interesting stories with lovely characters. Alex Milne and Josh Bucham provide great art work.

I fudging love Transformers! They are the best robots! The art, the plot! It's a must have.

Quirky, funny, tragic, daring, inventive, addictive and wildly entertaining, James Roberts' loveable rogues are a fanboy's dream - avoiding the usual cliches and tropes of the TF universe entirely to create something fresh and original. Not bad for a franchise thirty years and running!

Great series

I'd recommend this series to ANY Transformers fan... and to any comic-book reader who's disappointed on recent X-men and Avengers series, heh. It's like Star Trek but with but robots... and a good sense of humor :)

Collects #12-16 with cover gallery & the text story from #13 included. Reprints the Overlord saga - has featured on the cover.
