Blackjack Classic Model 7.

I ordered this knife to satisfy my desire for a combat-styled bowie knife, and I've got to say that this one is a keeper. The edge and tip (out of the box) are sharper than any other knife that I've handled, with the exception being some high-quality boning knives. Despite having a seven inch blade, this knife feels remarkably light in the hand, and the stacked leather handle provides a good grip. The guard and bolster on this knife are nearly at a mirror polish and the blade has a nice shine as well (kind of makes me sad to use it). To anyone looking for something more exotic than a Ka-Bar and classier than a SOG (both brands are still excellent by the way), this is a good choice.

_just regular old A-2 tool steel, but its a fantastic knife. The edge may wear down slightly faster than my falkniven, but its very easy to resharpen. Its got some weight behind it, so batoning and chopping is easier, however you run into that dulling quicker issue. The shank is actually as wide as the nut on the bottom of the knife, so i dont know the total punishment this blade could take, but I wager it's, again, less than my falkniven. The sheath and every other bit of construction of this knife is flawless besides my previous gripes. I say buy it, you'll like it too...

Had to do an exchange because the sheath was made wrong. I contacted the vendor and he checked a few others and they had the same problem.
