First of all, I’ve been searching for affordable dining chairs that look like this for a long time. These are absolutely perfect and I read the reviews about them being hard to put together I figured those people just don’t know how to do it with patience. Well, it is tricky and you will get extremely frustrated so please read these tips because I think they will help you.The problem is the four screw holes that connect the seat of the chair to the back of the chair. One or two of those holes will be pre-drilled at a weird angle. So, my advice is lightly screwing the screws first, before you put the seat on, and see how the screws are angled. I’ve attached some pictures. Keep in mind which ones are angling what direction and then when you go to screw the seat on remember that some screws need to be angled either towards/away from you or to the left or right, etc. After spending hours not being able to get one of the screws to catch, I took it apart and did this first and it went together in two minutes.I needed four chairs and after I put them all together one had a short front leg. To be more specific the leg was fine but the screw holes must have been placed higher on one side so even when you sat down the chair wobbled. (Last picture) This was the easiest return I’ve ever made without any Amazon purchase. They sent two new chairs quickly and paid for the return of the two chairs, which I had 30 days to do. I just needed to drop the box off at UPS. A couple of the chairs were wobbly but when you sit down there was no wobble so I figured that’s good enough for this price.As far as the reviews about them not being strong enough both me and my husband are 150 pounds and they feel very sturdy to me. If you had some really big family members I don’t know if these are the chairs you would pick but they seem like they’d be able to handle quite a bit of weight.The color is a nice medium gray, I think they look and feel much more expensive than the price. I definitely recommend!

Returning. So disappointed! Had trouble putting together as holes and screws wouldn't line up. Spent half a day putting together 4 chairs and 3 out of 4 wobble. No matter what we've tried including taking them apart and putting them back together they are uneven and wobble. Great looking but non functional :(

The table is very solid and feels and looks much more expensive than it is. The table top is dark but still shows beautiful wood grain detail. Assemble was easy but the chairs do take some time since that is were you have the most bolts and you want to make sure the legs are all attached the same way. This is easily done by making sure the slight curvature of the legs all face the right way based on the picture. Gave the product 4 stars because the table top does show a lot of fingerprints. Customer service is great and quickly handled a request I had after assembly. For the price I think this would be hard to beat.

I bought four of these chairs so far. They feel very sturdy and solid, and the material is smooth and easy to clean. I'm hoping the seat won't wear out like the previous style of chairs I had. The only problem is that the legs are a bit uneven on one chair and it wobbles a bit, though it straightens out when someone sits down on it.

First, as others have pointed out, the table is top-notch (particularly considering the price). Yes, it is a veneered top, but the table is very sturdy/solid and has a good finish and visual appeal. Definitely worth the money. If I was ranking the table by itself, it would get 5 stars.The reason the ranking gets two stars (which I thought a long time about) is twofold:1) Scheduling delivery. On the Amazon website I was prompted to pick one of the available delivery dates & times, which I did. Not only did the furniture not arrive on that date, it hadn't even shipped yet. I called ABF with the tracking number and they stated they needed a phone number for me (which I gave them - same number tied to my Amazon account), the confirmation number for the shipping had changed to a different number that I should reference, and that the table was still clear across the country in a warehouse. So, I don't know why I was asked to pick a delivery date on Amazon. The table didn't arrive until several days later - about three weeks from original order date.2) The chairs. The chairs are difficult to assemble (and I've assembled a lot of furniture) as the screw holes for the back are difficult to get all lined up. I eventually ended up using a different procedure than in the instructions where I put the first/center bolt in very loosely, so I could twist the back to get the side screws to line-up easier when installing them. It was still difficult. Secondly, none of the chairs sit evenly on the floor. Yes, the floor is level, but the chairs all rock back and forth as if two legs are shorter then the other two. However, that is only when you're not sitting in the chairs. When you sit down in them, they are stable. While the chairs are very comfortable for the duration of a dinner, even for someone at 250 lbs., they clearly aren't built very well.Knowing what I know now, if they sold the chairs and table separately (and maybe they do), I'd get just the table and look for different chairs. For me, the table is 5 stars, the chairs and delivery are between 1 and 2 stars.

The chairs are OK once put together but it was a nightmare putting them together because the screws did not fit the holes they were to go in. It took my son 5 hours to finagle a way to get them put together. Also both chairs had one uneven leg so they wobble a tiny bit. We almost sent them back. But they are attractive and comfortable to sit in and serve the purpose so we decided to make do and keep them.

We recieved the chairs, and in less than 2-weeks, the front legs splintered apart making the chairs unusbale. The wood construction appears to be very soft and brittle, and under under nomral use, highly unstable. We have attempted to contact Amazon for either replacments or full refund. The chairs are designed poorly, looks good until an average person sits on them.
