This new Dell power supply worked great and was very easy to install. YT videos can show you how, BUT if you see a flashing yellow light on your optiplex, it's probably a dead power supply. DON"T pull your CMOS battery and memory as some have suggested on YT. Just buy this power supply and install it. Pulling the CMOS battery and memory on my unit reset the BIOS and the computer would not boot. A simple change from ACHI to ATA made my computer boot after hours and days of rabbit hole research and tech help. Save yourself the trouble. The price is reasonable, shipping took 4 days longer than "estimated", but it works.

This power supply brought my Dell Optiplex 330 back from the dead! I knew the power supply was the issue but, since the data was backed up, I simply migrated to my laptop with intentions of fixing the Optiplex as soon as possible. Okay, a year later I finally got around to it. So, how do we get things done these days? Well, an Amazon search is typically a part of it. I was very pleased to find this power supply here on Amazon and I was even more pleased when it arrived in perfect condition and brought my PC immediately back to life within minutes of receiving it.
