It's cultured.For witches who have been around as long as you have, it looks the part -- kind of antique, European hills, witchy-ness. Very laid back. Quite natural. You can use it for Halloween,but, in place of what Snow White's apple witch might wear it could be used for other old world-y costumes -- any hag, an earthy market woman, Old Irish spinner, gypsy, aged refugee ... This hat will go any place a babushka would work.

PERFECT witch hat .... unless you have a big head
This completed my witch costume! I am a petite female with a small head so this hat worked for me! If you have a large head, it will likely be too small. My toddler was playing with it and it wasn't massively huge on him, if that tells you anything about the size.The fabric is nice and it doesn't wrinkle when folded and smushed in a bag. Highly recommend for kids or adults with small noggins !
