For the cost of replacement, I'll put up with my noisy old one
Love that it rotates the tree, love that it will support 2000 lights. However, the tree doesn't sit real straight and steady in it, although it's better than some of the other ones I've tried. I've jimmy-rigged it with wood shims that help. After a couple years, the movement got pretty "jerky" making me worry about some of the breakable ornaments. Also, the motor gets noisy after a couple hours of being on, and sometimes it makes a clicking sound. When I bought it a few years ago, it was about $80. Because it was so expensive, I had put off replacing it. This year, I committed to buying a new one, but after seeing the ridiculous price, I've decided I'll put up with the jerking and noise of my old one.

revolving Christmas tree
I had this stand for over 10 years and it worked great! Large base secures that the tree doesn't fall over. Have enjoyed many years of getting to see all my ornaments on the tree. Last year the motor wore out on it so I need a new one. But the price is shocking! Bought this for 89.00 years ago, will have to find another brand I'm not going to pay this price I can't afford it.
