O'NEILLMen's Basic Skins UPF 50+ Long Sleeve Rash Guard

Great for swimming and keeping sun off - ignore the “it’s too small” comments! In Arizona you get burned really easily - half hour lap swimming and my back and shoulders were fried. This shirt kept the sun off and was comfortable - it didn’t hinder my shoulders or balloon up.The sizing is correct for a compression-type shirt as it’s supposed to be. In fact, I normally wear medium in shirts and I sized down to small because the medium was just a hint too big and might have gapped and ballooned in the pool. It’s ***SUPPOSED TO BE TIGHT*** people. That’s the design. If you’re normally a small and you’re buying this in an XL then this is not the kind of shirt you’re looking for.

Quality material, looks good . I’m 5’6” 145 and a small fit snug on me but not too tight to be uncomfortable. If you want it a little looser go a size up. It’s definitely skin tight and hard to remove when wet.

I bought one in white last November. I bought this one in Pacific blue. It fits but is a little snug. Both shirts were medium. Perhaps the older shirt has just stretched out a bit. I wear the shirt when I am water walking. Offers great protection from the sun.

This long sleeeve Rash guard is so good for swimming long distance! My problem is the sizing! I bought two in 2012 (small size) and bought two again in 2021. Bought the small size thinking that I haven't grown sideways since my last purchase! How wrong could I be! Big mistake! I've gifted them to my friends and they're happy to receive it. I've ordered two more one large and one medium. I hope when I get them they will fit me. Fingers crossed!

My son wore this every day for a week, and it washed up great. It kept him cool in the sun, looked great with his beachy tan, and prevented sunburn (which is why this mom bought it). Great purchase!

This small size fits me well (145lbs) and acts as a guard against the wetsuit. I wish its collar was taller so that it could guard the neck area as well.

I should have bought a size up, since I found it to be a little tight. Save me a lot of time and icky feeling from having sunscreen on. Be careful though as it stains easily. I got a white one and I could not remove a small green stain on it.

My slim teenager found it too fitted around his waist but quite large in the chest and arms. Probably better for a surfer type body.

I bought this for my husband who is 5’7” and 135lbs, fit build. He takes a small in most swim gear (small billabong vacation fit rashguard is perfect) and the O’Neill size guide indicated he would be an extra small. Based on reviews I ordered up a size and got a small. It was so tight he couldn’t get it on. We honestly thought maybe a large would fit. It did have a nice light silky feel to it though so the right size would have likely felt comfortable to wear.
