This works perfectly for my needs. I’m able to see all of my stones at the same time and display them and a beautiful case with a real glass lid. The shipping was very fast too.

I want anyone looking for a U.S. Quarter box container with clear lid to know this is just the item. Each small clear container holds eight quarters and the lid fits on the small clear container that comes with the novel box perfectly. Park Quarters work also. You wont find a better clear lid novel/coin box at a better price. I have purchased two and they are great. P.S. l purchased the 50 count box,however there are jewel boxes with less count.

The insert doesn’t fit so I had to cut excess from the sides so it would stop lifting. Some of the leather is torn on the outside but… it doesn’t what it needs to and that’s hold my tooth gems so it’s fine.

Item arrived minus a pin in the rear hinge, so it only had one working hinge. Hinge pin was nowhere in the box so I will have to find a nail to use instead.Foam is rippled like others mentioned, but I'm sure some double sided tape will do the trick. This is nothing fancy, just a cheap way to display your stones that looks nicer than ziplock bags in a rubbermade bin :)The plastic round cases will likely scratch once gemstones are added, so these might be a one and done sort of thing, keep that in mind.It's worth the $30 I paid though.

The closing clasp stopped closing correctly thr first time it was used. Hasn't worked correctly since.

The box is perfect. The only problem is that the staples holding the foam in could have been hidden better or they could have used a strong adhesive glue for the foam. The staples stand out.

The foam gives the perfect amount of give and resistance to keep everything stable in the containers. Nice strong latch. My only issue was that one of the pins in the back hinges keeps falling out, otherwise the case is perfect.

Perfect size for storing gemstones. Their was a lot of black tiny fibers inside the jars so you had to clean them individually. Other wise perfect size, sturdy containers. Plus glass cloth.
