Fantastic colour
This colour is brilliant. I’ve spent years using different shades of permanent purple “LIVE” hair dye and I was fed up with my ends going orange after a couple of weeks!I tried the manic panic purple tub dye a couple of months ago and it was great the tones of purple and blue were really good so I thought I’d try this one and it’s even better! I’ve got dark brown hair and the dark bits went purple and the lighter bits went electric blue. The colours blend really well through the different shades in your hair. I love it and for a temporary colour it lasts really well. Will be sticking with this dye from now on. Also there’s no nasty smell when you put it on and it doesn’t burn your scalp like other hair dyes do.

I'm always chopping and changing my hair colour, and this was the first time I used manic panic and I chose the AMPLIFIED AFTER MIDNIGHT BLUE DYE. The advice is always to pre lighten the hair, with bleach if needed.I decided against this has I had already pre lightened my hair (but not bleach) when I dyed it pink 4 month's ago. And couldn't be bothered to wait for the pink to totally fade and start right from the beginning. Blah, blah.Being an insomniac (and impatient) was an advantage for when trawling through the Internet and YouTube looking for advice on dying straight over the pink. The majority outcome was not to as it would be a yucky colour . But I found 1 video that did take that risk and it turned out beautifully. So I decided to take the plunge.I put on cheap plastic gloves (my advice is to use washing up gloves (I wish I had. And make sure that they are ones you won't want to use again lol)), which did tear hence my lovely blue hands. And smothered protelium jelly around my hairline and top of my ears. This is a messy process and preparation is everything.I emptied the contents into a bowel and added a squirt of WHITE coloured hair contiditioner just to lighten it a tad. And applied it starting at my roots. Once fully covered I got clingfilm piled my hair on top of my head and wrapped it in the clingfilm and left it for 3 hours (manic panic advice is 30 mins, but I've found for myself, the longer the better). As you can see (my pic's aren't the best as I'm not the most photogenic), the only way I can describe the outcome is WOW!!! WOW!!! It looks so much better in 'real life'.The blue obviously has attached itself to the pink and the rest of my virgin hair a blackish colour, which thankfully covered my natural sparkly bits.When I wash it next, I will use cool, even cold water, if I'm feeling brave and colour saving shampoo/conditioner. And in between washes dry shampoo (which is my new best friend and should be yours too), as every wash reduces the colour and vibrancy. So I wash my hair once or twice a week.I've had so many compliments the most I've had with any colour.I gave 3* stars for long lasting as I've only been blue a week, so time will tell.I would recommend this colour and brand, and I can't wait for when I try another colour in a few months x

Blue but no purple/blue flicker
Used it for my beard, vivid but not really UV colour like the regular manic panic. Will get the standard pot again next time.

I have loved Manic Panic for years!
I love manic panic and have used it for many years.Moving to the UK made it hard to find for me for a while unitl i found i could order it online.I will say its much more expensive than what I used to pay but when you need a good colour that stays on long enough, you must try Manic Panic.The amplified versions are a bit more expensive but the colours are definitely amplified.I think Ive worn every color and I totally recommend.I like how it feels in my hair as well, its like having a conditioner because it makes my hair feel soft.If you want more vibrant colors try the amplified versions of color, for an easy touch up use the regular versions.I would love to see bigger jars but thats just a dream on my end.I would also recommend my seller sending them in better packaging (small box) because I recieved it in a amazon envelope and that would make it easy for the item to be damaged if crushed.

Best blue I've ever tried!
Ive been using blue dyes for 4 years and this got me nearest to the shade ive been trying to achive. I wish i had tried this sooner. Ive used every brand out there but this takes the prize. It is super thick in consistency which was a little strange to apply and the rinse out was hell yet it was worth it. The skin stains come off with micellar water and toner which is great as when i used crazy colour for prom my hands and back were stained blue and wouldnt even come off with cleaning bleach (desperate last resort). As i stated i really wish i had tried this sooner and the price is deffinitly worth it. I reccomend!

not purple “ultra violet”
it’s definitely not purple like i wanted, should of read the reviews. i haven’t washed out yet but it’s so obvious. It’s already a bright blue. i have been reading the reviews, and i really hope it’s not patchy, but it probably will be. I paid 30 for two bottles and i used one and a half because saturation. but even then i’m a little nervous. the other purple from the brand was a lot warmer and actually purple but that faded sooo quickly. so yeah, wash ur hair once a week, use dry hair shampoo:) -EDIT yes, it’s patchy

Longest lasting semi permanent dye
I never write reviews but it deserves a mention. I’ve tried many different hair dyes that never seem to last or look very vibrant. I was real close to just turning to a permanent pastel but I decided to go HOT pink so it would fade to my desired colour as shown in the second image. I always used sulphate free products and colour protection products alongside cold water when washing my hair to keep colour and I would be lucky if colour lasted more than 3 washes on my hair. I tried Directions , Crazy colour , LIVE colours and even shopping brands such as Morrison’s and I found none that lasted without going patchy and washed out on my ends until this colour. I’ve had it in for 3 weeks and I’ve washed it 5 times and it’s not budged much other than the ends being lighter pink. In fact , it looks like I’ve done it on purpose. If you’re wanting to go for a pastel colour that will last a while I recommend these amplified colours. For a person who gets mucky a lot at work and likes to enjoy a bath I can safely say even with hot water the colour won’t fade much. I love manic panic and I refuse to go back.

Received my product in pristine condition. Great service overall.
1) Shampoo hair using a MANIC PANIC PREPARE TO DYE clarifying shampoo. Apply to freshly washed & dried hair 2) Empty desired amount into coloring bowl and apply evenly with a tint brush 3) Do not apply to scalp, but 1/2 inch from the scalp. Saturate hair thoroughly. Comb evenly through the hair until it becomes frothy. 4) Cover hair in a plastic cap. Leave on 30 minutes or longer. For more intensity add heat 5) Rinse hair in cold water away from face and body until it runs almost clear.
