Information for People That Can’t Wear Metal…And More
My favorite thing about these plastic earrings other than the fact that they are plastic, is that they have different sized backings so that they can be used on every part of the ear, septum, Medusa, etc….I have been expanding my piercing size on the lower lobe piercing from 20g to 16g using a taper shown in the photo. That is the best way to expand 20g to 16g because there is less chance of tearing. And for me, since I enlarged those piercings recently, the only way to get these earrings on was by using that taper!I cannot wear any metals. So, 4 days after I DIY’d the piercings, my ear was getting so not happy despite lots of saline solution that I had to switch out my piercings with plastic earrings (no metal) at that time. It was very challenging but I managed. So, if you are like me, there is hope.I did those 5 upper piercings with those cheap disposable piercing guns in 20g just 2 months ago so I’m not ready to switch out my jewelry on the 5 piercings to try these 16g’s. They say that you need to wait 3-9 months until the ears are fully healed to expand piercings and before switching out jewelry. So, I took these photos of my lower lobe that has been healed for years to give you an idea on the size that these earrings are.I have been expanding the piercings because I purchase these little plastic sleeves on Amazon to put on all my earrings so that I can still wear metal but without any issues of having it against my skin. So, if you are purchasing plastic because you can’t wear metal, then those plastic sleeves are great.I don’t expect these earrings to last forever because these are plastic fittings. However, I appreciate so much that a seller is selling plastic earrings in 16g for a reasonable price so that people like me can wear earrings.I hope that you find the photos and information here beneficial for you and good luck with your shopping.

If you want to screw up your piercings, go for it!
I read all the "positive" things about bioplast and didn't find any negatives so I started using it. I autoclaved two lobe piercings and a flat piercing with it, and I used it in 9 year old lobe piercings and a 5 year old nose piercing. Let me tell you... EVERYTHING WAS VERY UNHAPPY. My brand new piercings kept getting blood crusties and bumps on them, and my nose was upset after one week of wearing it. I took it out of my nose and the post was coated in white lymph. I thought maybe my nose was upset with it because it moves a lot, unlike my ears. Fast forward a couple more weeks and I now have six week old lobes and a 4 week old flat. I took all the bioflex out today and realized a couple of things.1. A 16 guage bioflex is larger in diameter than a 16 guage metal piece. (I added a picture to show this, I'm not talking about length but actual thickness)2. Every single piercing was red, weeping, bleeding, and the bioflex posts were all coated in lymph even though I clean my piercings twice a day. The plastic is porous and will harbor bacteria. This applies for ALL plastic jewelry, not just this company. I have bought from multiple sources on Amazon and it's all the same exact thing so don't bother looking at another company thinking it will be better. My piercings are already happier and calming down even after I screwed with them changing the jewelry. Bioflex is a horrible thing, and the only thing I see it being used for is medical procedures. Do NOT keep this stuff in your piercings! My friend did the same thing and used bioflex, same thing happened to her.

Wear with care
Use at your own risk. As some other reviews state, some of the earrings can become lose. Although the earring are cute and the packaging is really nice. To my bad luck, I had them for about a week and wore 2 of them just fine. My 3rd fell out but I thought it had just gotten lost. About 5 days later I begin to get a pain in my right ear. I head to the urgent care and I’m told the back piece is lodged in my ear canal close to my eardrum. So just be careful when wearing them. Other than that I really liked them.

Mostly good! Worth the price.
I’ve been buying these for several years. They work great for my lip piercing. I like the plastic backing. Some bits are better than others but for the price, that’s ok. If the jewel is a good fit to the base, it stays very well. I have had some in for a year or more. I usually lose them before I use the whole package up.On occasion the jewel bit will not be a good fit for the base and they will pop out.My dentist appreciates that I use the plastic backs.

Comfortable, easy to work with
I switched from metal to these for my snake bites and they are way more comfortable and I don't risk chipping a tooth if I get aggressive with my food and end up eating my lip ring (don't lie, you've done it once or twice)

Perfect
Fits perfect. Comfortable. Looks great. Many options. Not too long like all the others I've bought. If it happens to get snagged, the top pops off instead of ripping your lip.
