“Miss” firecracker meets “Mr” wise a** reputation – sparks fly to the heavens!
OK. Got to start off by saying that I’ve always loved this cover model, drool ;-) With his golden-brown eyes he is the epitome of Holt. How does Ms. Snow do it?! Each of her books are better than the last. And it appears that all the hunks in the known world find their way to Heart’s Edge, Montana.Libby Potter is 27yo, lives alone on her family ranch which is going into foreclosure if she can’t find a way to make some money…fast. Her sister Sierra and her sleazy boyfriend show up to insist that Libby sell off some of her, well, their property for a shopping mall. Libby is furious enough but then Holt Silverton shows up in his Mercedes and big-city high-dollar suit to persuade her to sell. Uh-uh, he didn’t go and do that! This was a very funny scene.Forty-year-old Holt is trying to establish himself in Heart’s Edge as a developer/builder. His past reputation is a hurdle for many in this small town but for Libby, it’s a wall. There is sexual tension but she’s not falling for it. Oh. My. Word. Their back-and-forth dialogue is scintillating, beguiling and tingling ;-) When you find out about his foray into the NYC scene, you will actually feel bad for Holt. This was a turning point for him. Holt is a man who knows his short comings but does not fear to charge ahead, no knight’s steed required. When he brings to bear his protective shield for Libby, he becomes her white knight. There is so much intrigue, bad guys in disguise, a ghost town, a long-ago murder, a mystery, a strange but revered rock and the magical love brewing between Liberty Jane and Holt. Love the tribute to the four hometown heroes. Loved the OMG moment in chapter XIV and from then on too…Beautiful ending as always. I hope the Heart’s Edge people are still clamoring for their own story in Ms. Snow’s head because I don’t want to see them go.I volunteered to review an ARC of this book and it comes highly recommended. It gets a galaxy of stars!

Nothing stays hidden forever!
Libby is desperate. She is on the verge of losing her farm and the secrets that goes with it. Although Holt wants to buy part of her farm, he never expects to want Libby, but there’s something about her that gets under his skin. Although Libby sees the real Holt, letting him in means trusting him with all her secrets. With love growing between them, will Holt be able to protect her when others come after her farm? I thought I knew everything about the town of Hearts Edge. I was wrong. Whilst I enjoyed reading Libby and Holt’s story, the mysteries and Legends surrounding Hearts Edge made this a suspenseful and fascinating read.

Aww. Romantic thriller
No plot spoilersNo potential triggersThere are no grammatical or editorial errors. There are loads of sex scenes each of them appropriate and loving, if a bit repetitive. It's exactly what it promised in the blurb, there are some quite slow moments, with a bit too much tell and not enough show, so at some points the story drags a little, however it does make up for it with a big showdown.I thought the characterisation was good, but that Holt was a bit wishy washy and naive for a forty year old man. As for Libby, the character felt way too aggressive for comfort, there didn't seem to be a conversation she didn't turn into a shrew. I get that as a strong woman having to carry a heavy load for years could make her defensive and her nature made her one of life's fighters but that doesn't mean she would be such a bitch ALL the time.Anyhooose, I've read the series and have enjoyed it, it provided what I purchased it for, an escape from reality for a little while, but I don't think I will continue to purchase other books by this author, at least for a while. After the first few books the plotline feels much the same as any other and it's time me to change it up a bit by looking for other authors I've not yet read but that shouldn't put anyone off the book because I did award five stars for a reason 😊

Brilliant
Another brilliant story from Nicole.I so love Hearts Edge. Absolutely adored Holt and Libbys' story.Loved their storyline and their connection with each other. Loved that she was such a wildcat and yet she had a heart of gold deep down.Loved how Sierra came back into the family fold and that all went well with the farm and Ursa.Really a great story.

A great read
Enjoyed this book, didn’t realise it was a follow on from other Hearts Edge Town books, Holt being Blake the fireman’s brother. A lovely romance between Holt and Libby, lots of drama too when her long lost sister turns up with her “Banker” boyfriend wanting her half of the farm which is in dire straits due to a lien on the property, a hidden town with a dead body.

Romantic, hot and funny, a great read.
I love the Heroes of Hearts Edge series. I might just just have to start at the beginning and read them all again. Holt and Libbys story was fantastic. A lot of humour but also a lot of chemistry. I'm sure there could be a few more characters that could have books of their own, Felicity springs too mind. Always a great read, Nicole Snows books are always top of my list.
