Desert Heart (The Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch Book 4)

This book is so heartbreaking but at the same time heartwarming, the struggles poor Tina has to face really tugs at my heart. She has spent most of her life giving up on what she wants, choosing her pack above all else. But honestly how long can someone put the needs of others above their own needs, this book shows how courageous and strong Tina is and how much she sacrificed for her family. I knew this story would be absolutely amazing, and it didn't disappoint. I was always curious about the sister who seemed something of a mystery, in the previous books she appears in I couldn't help wondering what was going on with her. After reading this I have so much love for her, she truly is an interesting woman who deserves a happily ever after. And let's face it dealing with her two brothers, she really does have a difficult time. I can't wait for the next book, hopefully we see some children in Tina's future.

This is the 4th book in the series and is the best one so far. This book tells us of the romance between Tina and her first true love Rick.Rick grew up on the Seymour ranch next door and he and Tina were childhood sweethearts. That's until Rick got a scholarship at college and was 'spotted' by a baseball scout. Rick was top of his game until an accident ended his career and Lucy Seymour's will named him as manager of the Seymour Ranch which is how he found his way back 'home'. Tina never stopped loving Rick but believes that she can't mate with him as human males are more likely to die from a werewolf bite. On top of that problem is the knowledge that a hellhound has escaped and the were community has to find it fast before it kills too many people.In this book, we are introduced to the javelina shifters who play a pivotal role in the hunt for the hellhound. I don't know what it was specifically about this book but it has turned out to be my favourite so far. Although this is the 4th book, it's possible to read them out of sequence as there is enough of a recap for a reader to be able to follow the stories of the other main characters but not too much that you feel like a third of the book has been repeated (a pet hate of mine). If you want a quick and easy read, this is the series for you.

What a beautiful read, my heart went out to Tina and Rick. If destiny says he’s your mate who’s to argue. A gripping thrilling read throughout and made me tear in one part. Not to be missed.

Book 4 in the series, and just as good as the previous three that I've read.

Lovely 2nd chance shifter romance.

This book follows Tina and Rick’s story. I've been intrigued by Tina’s character since the beginning of the series, and there have been hints to Tina’s past in the previous books. Like her brother Ty, Tina has always put the pack first, even before her own heart. But she never forgot Rick, and her feelings are thrown into turmoil when he returns. Rick hasn’t forgotten Tina either. He wants a second chance, but he also has problems on his own ranch to deal with. Meanwhile, there is a new danger in the area, which is darker and more dangerous than anything they’ve seen before.This book had danger, excitement and steam.
