For fans of Leon and The Assassin
This one may have crept under the radar for some as it did for me. It popped up in a list of films with car chases and I discovered it from there. The car chase itself is very clever, all filmed from inside the vehicle. It isn’t on the scale of The Matrix Revolutions but the chase feels authentic and tense.Outside of the chase, the female assassin trained by a veteran narrative is familiar but built with a powerful backstory and you are kept guessing at her every move as she tries to navigate each subsequent hit. The acting is very good and it’s relatively low budget is disguised well.

One I had forgot
I only recently came across this DVD and was initially sure about it. Had I perhaps purchased it on behalf of another family member? I am glad I got over that thought. I watched it and whilst the subject matter might not be described as of a fun nature the acting is superb. I recommend this DVD.

A great movie
Blake lively plays stephanie a woman who lose her family in a plane crash. At the start of the movie, she is broken, a shell of her self. Trying to cope. Until she finds out that is was no accident which caused her families plane to crash. So begins her transformation on a road of revenge. Blake is in my opinion brilliant in this showing stephanie torment. She plays this poor woman very well. Jude law is good in a supporting role as a former MI6 agent training her in the skills she will need to find those responsible.
