Matcha Green Tea Powder Packets – Simply Matcha 12 Pack, All Natural

I was devastated when the Jackie Chan extra green tea was taken off the market and have never found a replacement until now. I was skeptical as I had tried many replacements but never found anything that lived up to my expectations. I had tried individual packets of Jade Monk tea from the health food store but they were all flavored with artificial sweetener and that messes with my body. So my expectations were low. However, this particular product has no flavoring or sweetener and lives up to all my expectations in how my body reacts to it. It helps me keep my blood pressure down, and as it works a bit like a diuretic, it keeps my feet from swelling which is a huge help with keeping neuropathy under control. I am very pleased.

This tea has a good taste. I've never had "ceremonial grade" matcha, so not having that superior reference point, this was a good replacement for matcha powder and water that I was getting previously at Starbucks. As you might guess, their powder contains sugar.Packets are a super convenient choice that works great for me. I was mixing it with collagen powder and two monk fruit packets in my Blender bottle and it made a nice frothy, cold tea. Will order again as matcha is a perfect natural, sugar free beverage...especially in warmer weather.

I like the convenience of this tea and the taste is good, I prefer the unflavored one it mixes up well I like to put it with almond milk. Definitely great for travel. Not the best matcha I've had but for the price and convenience I would definitely purchase it again.

I was excited when I found matcha to go packets. I've now tried 5 different brands (online and store bought) and this is the fav! It blends best and tastes best. It is not just pure matcha, but has chicory to make it blend better, which is also really good for belly health. So win-win there! I have not tried the flavored versions, only the "Simple."

Great tasting matcha in a convenient pouch. I keep the box of them at work for a pick me up. The size of the pouch is almost perfect, it's basically 0.6 teaspoon. Other brands I have usually scooped out of the pouch about a teaspooon. With these pouches, I've used 2 of them in a little bit over 2 cups of liquid (oversized coffee cup) and I think it's perfect. The matcha by itself in water is pretty tasty but I prefer it with almond milk. It doesn't dissolve quite as readily in cold water or milk as it does in hot water like the box says, gets rather lumpy in cold liquid but you can eventually unclump and mix in. So I will get a little bit of hot water in my cup, stir it until it dissolves then I can add cold milk in and re-stir. Like previous reviews have said, it does require re-stirring if you don't drink it immediately, which isn't a big deal. Overall though, it's a good product.

As a fan of green tea, I had to try this. I drink it mixed with a bottle of water . At work it really gets me through my shift. I work in a factory, second shift, and the extra boost really helps. It's a very refreshing pick me up. I love the convenience and just ordered a bunch more. Really great stuff.

I have had plain unsweetened matcha from other vendors at similar price points, and this did not taste like that matcha at all. I prepared it according to the instructions, mixed it thoroughly, and though it turned the water green, it had no taste whatsoever. It didn't even have a hint of the strong and umami (aka seaweed-y) taste. It was as if I was drinking plain hot water. The powder also had no smell at all, which was very weird. I actually measured the amount of powder, and it appeared to be the right amount and color. I even tried preparing multiple packets in case it was just one packet that was bad. I'm very puzzled. Perhaps I got a bad batch but I definitely won't be purchasing again.

I will definitely get this again. I bought this after trying a "Cocoa Matcha Shake" at a cafe in my gym, and wanted to recreate it at home. I am a big coffee drinker and sometimes I still feel foggy after a coffee in the morning. I drink one of my shakes mid-morning for a little "boost" and for health. I definitely feel more "aware" and less foggy after drinking the matcha powder. Here is what I make:Ice1 scoop of protein powder- chocolate flavor1 packet of matcha powder1/2 of a large/med banana1 tbsp of ground flaxseed.blend it all up and enjoy!
