I bougt this as a gift for my husband. He was wanting the spooke shave because he got into widdling and had borrowed one from a friend who was into it as well.This was very flimsy and bent and moved and he tried to use it. It also didn't shave smoothly and kept getting stuck and making notches in the wood he was working with. I had to break down and buy another and more expensive one, which works properly and is 1000 times smother to use.The only good thing about this item is the other items that came with it. But for the price, wasn't worth it since I had to go out and buy a different spoke shave. I could have bought better ones with the spoke shave and spent the same amount.I don't recommend this product.

The hand planer works ok with a little setup rigging, but the square level is not straight. It will not hold a true square so it's useless. I plan to do a little grinding to get it square, but I guess you get what you pay for. It was cheap, in price and in quality.

I guess I can't really complain about the quality knowing the price, but I only really needed the spokeshave and boy did it disappoint.

The metal blade is a good one. I can use it out of box. The wood planer is a bit hard to use, might need a while to adjust the blade depth. I guess not many people would have patience to play around it. The metal ruler is a plus.

This item was unusable for me. No directions.Went to the trash.

A nice set of tool to add to my collection, good value for the price and they work. I only wish the ruler had inches as well as mm.

The price is great and the items work well. The size is perfect for the project I am working on. This is worth it.
