Bandai Metal Robot Spirits Side MS Gundam Barbatos Lupus Lex

I'm a huge Iron Blooded Orphans fan, so I've been looking at something like this for awhile. I saw this exact model online, but it was at a site that was questionable. So you can guess I was ecstatic to see it on Amazon of all places. This is the 1st Gundam I have so I can't compare it to different materials, sizes, or the fully custom ones. So this is purely from a person who desperately wanted this model and has little knowledge on Gundam figures.In my opinion, if you're a Gundam/IBF/Figure fan, this model is great. The model itself is made of metal, at least mostly, so it's pretty sturdy, of course I wouldn't drop it still cause it does have smaller parts that could break. But if you wanted it to stand on it's own or handle it, it's pretty sturdy. The stand is plastic and so are the holders? Prop-up stands? But they are also fairly sturdy. The instructions do say some of the parts on the model are painted a certain way, so it can rub off. So I wouldn't really let kids around it or would limit handling.It's fairly small, smaller than I've seen some figures, so it's great to put on a desk or a smaller cabinet, bookshelf, something like that. Of course, you can make it smaller or taller depending on how you pose it.Assembly...is something. If you can only read English like me, then you'll need to find instructions online. It's mostly intuitive if you've had other figures (characters or whatever) or are familiar with the ways Japanese figures connect. That probably sounds weird, but the figures I have that are made in America are 100% assembled differently than ones from Japan. Smaller pieces can be a little bit harder to figure out where it's suppose to go. All I used was the Google Photo Translator, I know we all joke about it, but I tried that 1st. And that got the job done, so I wouldn't be too worried about not being able to read the instructions. The actual pieces are easy to take on and off. The tail and the lightning bolts can be maneuvered to really give it a different look.I was surprised by the packaging, if you're curious about that like I was. The model itself and connecting pieces were all taped inside the 2 form fitted plastic pieces that fit together. If you've gotten something like this before, you'll know what I mean. Those plastic pieces are taped together in a box that has the make and model and decoration. Mine arrived in perfect condition, no dents, scratches, scuffs, and the tape closing the box came off perfectly, which is a huge pet peeve of mine. The box is surrounded in news paper, mine was Japanese so that was fun to look through, and fit snug in the shipping box.

This gundam is a dream figure to ibo and gundam fans definitely worth the price I highly request it if your a Huge gundam fan

The Metal Robot Spirits Barbatos Lupus Rex figure is a very premium figure of an existing model kit. Fans of IBO or the mechanical design of the Barbatos will love this. However there are some issues with the general build of the figure. It's hands and shoulders do not offer enough support to hold its mace thus requiring the use of its sub-arms. The strength of the waist is also a little weak if it starts to hold any of its equipment.That being said, this product is sold out from its original retailer so all of these items are sold from 3rd party sellers resulting in its high price. The item arrived earlier than scheduled and was in good condition.

A little expensive but well worth it.

Fully articulated masterpiece of what the Ultimate form of Barbatos Lupus Rex is. I love the weight and feel of this art from Metal Robot Spirits and the other gimmicks and add ons they carefully placed inside the box. I wish the manual was a color booklet for the premium Bandai price I paid but overall, a diamond of what it is. You have to add this to your Gundam collection along side the new Barbatos Lupus coming this August 2021!

Fast shippinng and delivery. Item is brand new and good condition. Outstanding details and proportion. The Gundam look like the final battle scene in the anime.

I was extremely happy to receive the figure and very satisfied in the condition the package arrived. It has become the crowned jewel on my shelf.

Way too small for the asking price, gunpla are bigger and can do more same for a lot of transformers toys if you're into those too.
