Perfect and Secure
My house has chicken wire in all the walls (lathe & plaster) which absolutely wrecks WiFi signals. I was quite pleased that this unit works great all around and even outside through many of these radio-blocking walls.Image quality and night vision (IR) are great, and the battery life of the monitor seems quite good. It came with a 3 meter usb cable for the camera which I really needed. My only complaint is the sensitivity for waking up the monitor. Level 1 is too sensitive, but level 2 isn’t sensitive enough. There’s no motion-based activation, but I understand that would take some camera-side processing and would probably cost more.Overall I’m happy with the unit, and I’m glad it’s not using WiFi.UPDATE: 4 to 5 stars... after a few weeks I don’t care about the sleep/wake functionality. The battery life on the monitor is so very good I can just have it on all the time for all the naps in a day without charging it.

Peace of mind
I have a very long house (2200 square feet) and was able to transmit sound and video to opposite end as long as I had monitor close to an outside window. Night vision works very well. Zoom could be better but sufficient for a x2 . Monitor turns itself off and back on within 2 seconds if sound threshold is set at lowest level. It does this I think to preserve battery life. If I have the Monitor on, I want it continuously on! So the fact it will turn itself back on within 2sec. if the sound threshold is set low is a plus for me.Typically I use it during the day to Monitor my grand baby during a 2 to 3 hour nap. I'm not concerned about losing power since it's made to run without the power cord for up to 13hrs 32min. However if you want, I suppose it could be used with the power cord for possibly longer than 13hrs. 32min.The thing I love most about this monitor is that it has a 13hr. Wireless Designated Monitor, NOT my cellphone, to monitor with!!!! I don't want my cellphone to be wrapped up in as part of the security. This is a huge Plus ➕️ for me!

Review after a year of use and FALSE ADVERTISING
Seriously NOT WORTH IT! Look for another camera that has the backing of people who have used it for over a year OR that customer service is great. This company has neither of those. The parent unit will become completely useless on this device once you add a second camera into the mix. The unit worked ok with one camera (however, still not a battery life of 24hrs- we always needed to charge it after a night of monitoring on sleep mode). In July we needed to add the second camera and it completely burned out the battery. We now have to keep the monitor plugged in to the wall or an external battery to keep it on.We never leave the screen on, it’s in sleep mode 95% of the time, and I even started unplugging my toddlers camera so that it wouldn’t burn the battery down while my newborn was sleeping.A year ago, I was very happy with my purchase and it worked ok with one camera.I am extremely bummed that this product became useless with the added camera but I am even more upset that Eufy wanted NOTHING to do with this issue. They didn’t want to further discuss the issue or try to remedy it in any way. I get that they have other products within their brand but if you provide products for the safety of children you need to have a better way of helping out your customers. We will not be purchasing a new baby monitor from this company and will be switching to another brand that has a positive product review backing for a two camera system.Lastly, on the website they claim the baby monitor will last 24hrs - however, in their customer support email it stated that the battery lasts 4-6hrs OR 12-14hrs in sleep mode. NEITHER of those equals a 24hr battery life.If you are looking at another brand, just go with them. The ultimate thing for me was the lack of understanding via customer support when it comes to baby products. Once this is purchased- the warranty starts. If you get it as a gift and don’t need it for 2-6 months, you are screwed. They don’t care. If the product literally stops working with no reason, they don’t care. Pray that it’s in the 12months after date of purchase I guess.

Make sure to get a warranty
I actually like this monitor and features compared to most others but they do not last long. This is the 2nd one I’ve had that was broke well within a year. 1 was purchased as a gift, probably after 3 months starting to show the video in a small corner of the screen before loosing most functionality and just unusable. Decided to purchase another thinking we had a 2nd camera from the 1st set. Old camera not compatible with the new monitor. Video worked but most features don’t so I just used the new set purchased which a good 6mon later stopped working. The camera no longer connects to the monitor. Luckily I had the old camera so at least I have video of my child although the temperature nor other features work.Happy to report the company resolved my issue in a timely manner. Replaced the entire set at no cost and no return needed. I received the new package today maybe a week after my comment was made and commend the company on how they handled this matter. I only hope to have the new operative as long as needed.

Great built quality, a nice baby shower gift
The first impression is that the built quality is very solid for the price. The 30-hr battery life of the monitor very is impressive. I love the voice and temperature alarms and the VOX feature. So far the connection at home is stable without lag and the image quality is not bad even it is 720P. The only downside for me is the camera comes with this monitor is not tilt & pan camera, and it will be great if there are some AI detection features like sleeping position detection, but considering the price, I am happy with this purchase! Will see how long the battery life can last and update.

Works well
Happy with this purchase! The screen quality isn’t like a smart phone but it does the job.

Loud hum/buzz on monitor that does not go away
I wanted to like this camera so much. I tried a couple others on the market which turned out to have really bad night vision. After researching and reading reviews on Amazon.com and the recommendation on Wirecutter I decided to try eufy. Picture is great during the day and not too bad at night but oh boy the camera does not stop humming/buzzing. First I though it was a battery issue so I made sure to have it fully charged all the time. Then read the software update notes by Anker in the questions above as well as on their website. I doubled checked that both the camera and monitor are up to date- they are. I still tried to connect it to my computer to try the update- the monitor would not connect to my Mac.After wasting a few hrs trying to get this to work properly, I’ll have to pack it up and return it- and find myself a new baby monitor. Kind of frustrating with a tiny baby during a pandemic.

This is the manual tilt/pan version.
This version can be rotated or tilted manually, and the picture can be zoomed and scrolled using the monitor. The monitor stands alone and would not fit in a pocket - therefore, this is not the Eufy Spaceview you have likely seen in reviews. The picture was still great including night vision, and battery power outstanding. For the price of the unit, it is definitely worth the cost, just be aware of which version it is. My husband actually prefers the stand alone monitor to the smaller and more pocketable one, especially for $70 less. If you require the tilt and zoom functions from the monitor, or to be able to keep the monitor in your pocket, you may need to spend the extra to get the non-manual version.
