Like i said, these are designed for breadboard use...however, I have been looking for a fairly easy, elegant solution to a problem I've been having with my 1987 Sega After Burner Arcade. I needed something to change out an old molex harness. The issue is the clips for molex harnesses are a pain. I researched and researched and found these. A slightly sturdier 22AWG can handle the higher voltage needed, I was able to tie into the existing wiring of the cabinet, and plug it right into the PCB in the cabinet. Works perfectly.

Can handle 5A without melting down for short periods (~1-2 minutes) at least! Very nice feel and easy to wire with. Went back for more because if you only have M/M then you inevitably will need F/F or M/F.

I use these with breadboards and they fit in nice and snug. The color variation and ability to extend is very helpful. Really like these for projects.

Good for temporary mock up. Just be careful they don't come off.

I've ordered other jumpers like this before and received some with kits. None are actually as good as these. Premium is correct. Positive reviews seem spot on. At the end a project they usually end up in a pile and I can easily spot these jumpers next to cheaper ones. Keep up the quality and I'll keep buying them!As for the specs - 22AWG is accurate, the wire coating is good, the connector bits are solid. I know these are for prototyping but the quality is good enough to leave installed in your final project (if you don't mind the extra space it takes.) The wire easily strips if need be and 22AWG means soldering is a breeze. Some other jumpers have 6 hair thin conductors that are impossible to work with, but these are just perfect for me.

These are nice, especially for the price. They look and feel well-made. So much easier to have the Dupont connector end already there plus available in all sorts of combinations. The color mix is great. I use them for components that don't easily work with a breadboard. Just solder the tinned end onto the leads or hooks or other contacts and now you have the other end to just plug into the board. Or, if still testing with your multimeter, the pins make a great place to just attach an alligator clip to the components before you even put them into the breadboard.

Lots of durable pin wires

I have a bucket full of those jumper wires with the "round" ends that usually have glue coming out of where the wire enters the round barrel. They're cheap and they work most of the time. The problem with them is the wire part that goes into the breadboard is only just large enough in diameter to contact the female part in the breadboard. So many times, this connection is loose and unreliable and can make your electronics project not function properly and it's almost impossible to figure out the problem without a scope or analyzer.THESE JUMPERS ARE AMAZING! They're made solid and fit tight into the breadboard. I will no longer be buying those cheap round head ones. These are totally worth any extra cost! Get these and you will be saving your self headache in the future.

Could not find a ribbon cable to replace a Sony CD player control cable.These saved the day - just had to find the pin-out arrangement to plug them in the right order, then the cable ends can be glued together (or left as individuals). Needed a decent gauge to handle the current.Just wish I could get these in greater length (like twice as long) and heavier gauge, for more flexibility in locating the units.
