Q: Is this the same grill joe robinet uses? been waiting for him to release his, but i need a grill soon!

His is the same exact grill but his is 4x10 , this one is 5x9.5. They are both heavy gauge stainless but this is far cheaper. Joe's price is marked up to support his camping trips.

Q: What is the temperature rating on this? Need to cook on really high heat.

it will take more heat than steel.What you are cooking will be black,crispy,burnt,carbon before this melts!!!

Q: can it be used over propane stove?

I've used it over wood fires, and both propane and butane stoves. I haven't had any problems with it warping or anything like that. It is very durable, and in my opinion is well worth the price for it.

Q: Is this sized to fit inside a 50 cal ammo can? I see comments with different sizes than the stated "Product Dimensions: 5 x 9.5 inches".

It's 9.5"x5" So if your ammo can is that or bigger , it will fit. And it's very sturdy too , not cheaply built at all. Good luck
