On the thicker side, which some folks don’t like. Install wasn’t very difficult and I was able to re wrap a couple parts I didn’t do well. Could be a tad more tacky, also the end tape is always so hard to get on perfectly, make sure to use electrical tape first, the ZIPP tape is more for decoration.I had extra so I used to for padding on the light and bike computer components. Overall a very fair price point, and comfort level. I would purchase again!

i've had black tape of the service course and it's a great bar tape. Bought white for my bike and it's impossible to keep clean. If you want white tape and want it to remain somewhat white then stay away from this one.

First time user of this tape. I've tried them all, 40+ years of riding. Goes on fairly easy. A bit of stretch to it, length is ample. No adhesive backing (gel). Grippy feel, you could ditch wearing gloves if you want. Feels similar to Lizard Skin DSP, but not as rough. No adhesive backing means you can take it off and start over if you mess up without tearing the tape. Wonder why this tape is not rated among the top handlebar tapes. Good value also. I used this tape on my fairly new Trek 2021 Domane + LT. Replacing the stock Bontrager Super Tack Perf tape. The Bontrager tape was a bit too sticky and mushy for me. This stuff is 3.5mm thick. Lots of padding, but installs easy for a thick tape. Usually thicker tape is harder to install, not this stuff. Good tape.

I have used the original specialized tape that came with s-works bike, as well as Cinelli and planet bike cork tape.First off it was very easy to install, easier than the others and it was very easy to modulate the thickness by slightly stretching or relaxing the tape. I like that it did not have excessive logos. The old tape simply got too fat to hold at spots and slippery when damp from water and sweat.So how is this making me faster? Because of the amazing grip and textured feel, I am able to transition between the drops and bar much easier, I am able to hold the bar with less grip when 1 handed while drinking from the bottle, I am overall way more relaxed in the arms and the shock absorption is better, so I am less tired. All these are allowing me to push harder and longer thus making me faster. Bought a spare for the future too.

Initial impressions. I bought this months ago, but yesterday I decided to re-wrap the handlebars on my Pinarello F-10 because the initial wrap from when I took delivery of the bike was starting to look bad. It was easy to apply and I was pleased with the stretchiness, padding, and stickiness. The handlebar end plug seats well. I think it looks terrific. If it stays in place and wears well, I will continue to use this tape. The bike was delivered with Lizard skin tape on it and that only lasted six months and started to stretch and shift leaving gaps in the tape. (I don't know how much of that was caused by the tape brand or a sloppy wrap job). I'll update this review if anything changes.

Best tape I've ever used. Tacky without feeling sticky, cleans easy and feels great. I used Fizik medical gel pads under and I couldn't recommend this more!

I bought a second set for another bike after loving the first set so much. I prefer a fatter bar with a good amount of cushion, so this tape was perfect. The tape length is really dependent on how tight you wrap it and how much overlap you use I accidentally used less overlap on a bike with 34 cm bars, and the tape came much closer to the stem than it did on the bike with 32 cm bars. If you like a really fat wrap that comes all the way up to the stem it may not be enough tape, but it should be enough for the 99.9% of other people who would look at this product. I really like the texture of this tape compared to the Supercaz tape I used before, and this tape is a LOT cheaper. The texture feels exactly like it looks: a foamy knurled pattern. It has plenty of grip with wet and sweaty hands, but doesn't feel too tacky when dry.

Easily one of my favorite bar tapes. I've tried Fizik, Specialized Roubaix, Pro Control, Lizard Skins, Supacaz and some cheap ones in between. The CX Service Course from Zipp is at the top; easy to install, feels grippy without being too rough and looks good as well. Stretches well so it's easy to dial in your desired thickness.Reasonably inexpensive, I like to change out my bar tape at the start of every outside riding season. Like getting shoes when you were younger , it makes you go faster! Recommended.

Probably the best bar tape out there. Even in white!!Won’t stay white long but this is extremely comfortable bar tape. If you like a cushioned feel on your bars then buy Zipp Service Course or the CX model.

After 5k km this bar tape still looks and feels like new. I think it's the best bar tape you can buy for this price.
