Very tasty cut of meat
Not had this since I was a nipper and mum used to buy it because it was plentiful and cheap and we couldn't afford steak, now it's the opposite , cheek is so difficult to get hold of it's become expensive.Personally i roast mine on a low heat wrapped in foil with onions and mushrooms but you can pan fry itRecommended.

chewy for slow cook
It's a little bit too chewy for stir-fry but perfect for slow cooked. very tasty

Stronger flavour
You need to cook this long and slow, 4-5hrs, plenty of stock with it and make some dumplings

Love it in a slow stew
Really good flavour enhancer to any stew. Comes out nice and tender in a slow roast, just give it more than 4hrs on low low heat.
