Was worried this was overpriced but it’s not! The dye is very steadfast. No fading after nearly an entire summer in the sun and rain. The umbrella opens so easily. The ties help keep this in place when not being used. The crank moves smoothly and as promised. Doesn’t stick or get stuck. Highly recommend this quality piece. Worth every penny

The tilt control requires a lot of pressure, and the crank lift needs a hard turn. The aluminum pole doesn't seem quite as sturdy as the metal pole unit it replaces. I like it, and it looks great. I need time to see how well it stands up to use and weather.

We like this umbrella so much, primarily because of the Sunbrella fabric. The only concern is the crank lift is a bit still and requires some muscle to open & close.

This is my second California Umbrella and my previous one lasted 5 years. Daily use from March-October. My arms are weak from multiple arm surgeries and I needed an easy mechanism to open the umbrella. Very smooth operation and great choice of colors.

You can see through the fabric. Is it SunBrella? Or a very cheap quality SunBrella? Would not buy. I am returning it.
