X-Doria iPhone 6s Plus Case & iPhone 6 Plus Case, Defense Shield Series - Military Grade Drop Tested, Anodized Aluminum, TPU, and Polycarbonate Case for iPhone 6s Plus & iPhone 6 Plus

I purchased this case after much research and received this product about 2 weeks ago. I have now been using it for about a week and a half. I waited a bit to review the item, as I wanted to see what it would be like to live with beforehand. Here is the breakdown of my experience so far:-Fit & Finish:The fit is snug,so putting on the outer metal frame over the rubber inner frame does require a bit of patience. But due to its precise fit, I doubt it'll snap off the phone if it is ever indeed dropped. The finish on the outer frame is a perfect match in color and texture to the iPhone's color (gold, in this case). The buttons also seem like they are machined metal pieces and are easy to push and add to the pleasing look. The clear back allows for your choice color iPhone to be displayed (after all, what's the point of picking an iPhone color if your case covers the back all the time?) and the case is not bulky at all.-Accessibility:Craftsmanship is spot on with all buttons and ports lining up and accessible. I was surprised at how it was able to accommodate even my bulky Belkin aux cable, however, I do wish the opening for the Lightning cable input was a bit wider. It has no problem with the Apple lightning cable, but my backup rocketfish cable was a bit too wide for the input. As a result, I did have to shave down the plastic/rubber on Lightning input side of the cable a bit.-Protection:The phone is fully encased (minus the screen) and the rubber inner bumper protrudes past the screen on the front end and back, so your phone is not in direct contact with the surface when setting down or in case it is dropped. The metal quality and rubber bumper are all top grade and does not feel flimsy or cheap. The clear back feels solid and study and I believe will make it even harder for the phone to become bent, for those of you out there that worry about that sort of thing. I suspect that dropping the phone might cause some scuffing to the case, but it is a well thought out design in my honest opinion and I do believe it will withstand and normal drops it may encounter. Will update if ever dropped.-Overall:I am very pleased with the product so far. In this present day and market, it's hard to find a cellphone case that is both aesthetically pleasing and offers promising protection for your investment. I appreciate how X-Doria has tastefully appointed their design in order to not only protect your phone, but to let the nuances of the original design pass through with minimal invasion. As it sits now, I am very pleased with my purchase and as long as X-Doria keeps up the subtle engineering direction in design and high quality, they may have garnered themselves a long term repeat customer in me. I usually buy UAG - Urban Armor Gear - cases for my iPhone 6S Plus. I loved the look of this case and decided to venture out. Let me say there is somuch I really like about this case: the look, the design, the sturdiness. While I concede that it's true an the aluminum buffer does affect some cell strength, it wasn't anything significant. I only mention it because it's come up in multiple reviews but is not the basis for my 3 star review. It's the scratches on the polycarbonate back. I've only had the case for a month now and the scratches from just setting the phone down on its back are just ridiculous. I'm not one of those "put the phone face down guys." The case should be able to stand up to being put down on its back. So, do I feel like my iPhone is safe in this case? Yes. But a big selling point for this one was its clean polished aesthetics. My UAG's cases, which I've had for so much longer, don't show anywhere near the kind of wear this one does after only 30 days. And its only likely to get worse, so my phone is libel to be back in the UAG case I took it out of soon at this rate. What's sad is there are rubber strips on the back but they are flush with the clear plastic finish so they're pretty much little more than a piping outline and little else. No longevity with this one.

I've been an Android phone user for a long time and I've almost always used an Otterbox on my devices. When I switched to iPhone I just couldnt stand what the Otterbox cases looked like, and the 6s+ was already big enough without a case. This X-Doria case really nails everything I was looking for in a case for 'middle-of-the-road' protection and usability. I think Otterbox has the most protective cases, period... plenty of huge drop tests show this.Where this case shines is in its lack of bulk, even the X-Doria Lux (luxury edition, so much better to install) is just a tad too bulky for this phone. I have protection on the screen even with a glass protector, the camera looks (and feels) protected and the clear back lets the Android crowd prepare to mock me from a distance. The finish and fit are great, the buttons feel almost like stock buttons (there are no rattles). As with most cases, the silence switch is a little hard to get to. The ports on the bottom are great, only issue is with a set of IEMs that have a 90 degree plug.This is a great case, lots of drop test videos out there. If you like something in between 'super protection' and 'almost no protection' then this might be what you're after.

So far so good! Easy to put on (I also put on a glass screen protector that worked fine with it) I don't love that it cost so much more for the 2015 version of the iPhone 6s Plus, vs the old version, but better safe than sorry. I also was hopeful they incorporated some of the feedback about the holes for plugs being larger to accommodate non apple chargers (like Amazon Basic) and that does seem to be the case. no problems charging with our Basic chargers. the mute button will be a little challenging to reach, but still do-able. And lets not kid ourselves, the 6sPlus is pretty big to start with. this seema to provide protection while still minimizing the amount of casing I'm adding (again, time will tell on the protection) I'm not researching to see if an i-ring or bunker ring will work with the back plastic casing. These phones are BIG Great for viewing... not so great for holding

Been using this case for around 2 months and I fully rate this product.Unfortunately we live in an age where it's fine and justifiable to buy a £1,000 iPhone 7 Plus, but are then apprehensive of spending that little bit extra on a phone case and end up using a £5 silicone case that provides no protection.This case is very robust and is excellent quality. I've dropped my phone maybe 3 or 4 times from waist height or from getting out of my car and the phone has survived completely unblemished.I can't see this case breaking anytime soon but if it does I'd be sure to buy again.I have also bought the slightly cheaper model of case x-Doria offer for my 6s plus and that is also excellent

This is the 2nd X-Doria-4 Defense case I have bought, however, I would not recommend buying it. It is almost impossible to operate the OFF switch on the right hand side because it is too stiff. I have tried every which way to get it to operate properly, but so far no luck. I would not recommend buying one.

I used this case for about a month and the volume buttons fell out when I went to take it out. Also, unless it's the original Apple charger or headphones, the holes are too small.

I already knew the product was great, a friend of mine is using it so I decided to get it when I saw it from him.Sturdy, simple, and it feels great when holding the mobile device.

Great case! Looks awesome... love the aluminum one piece surround. Much more secure. Might have to get a tempered glass sheet to cover the screen though... no protection there. Highly recommended!
