Grippy, helpful gloves
I'm a professional gardener and use these for most work. They don't protect against thorns and sharp objects (I use leather gloves for handling thorny material) but they do save my hands from all sorts of filth, blisters and abrasion. The grippy palm and fingers mean less fatigue from all sorts of manual handling, and they are thin and snug enough for fiddly work like weeding. The gloves get thrown in the washing machine regularly, and last several weeks before the rubber palm breaks down (typically in the joint between thumb and palm), making them good value.

Great value work gloves
These gloves are excellent value for money. They do grip and are thin enough to still have near full dexterity when using your hands. While being thin means they obviously don't provide as much protection as thicker work gloves (and the elastic backs really don't provide any protection), for most tasks where the protection isn't necessary these are perfect.
