ColumbiaMen's Glennaker Lake Jacket

It's often difficult to find high quality clothing for larger adults, especially in more niche categories. Thanks to Columbia for making a product that is useable by some larger body types.This jacket is very light weight and can be packed into an impressively small (included, attached) pouch. It took me a couple tries to figure out how to do the packing, but it's basically a matter of just laying the item on a table, folding the coat once or twice, and then kind of rolling it up and tucking into the pouch. You can do it more messily, just kind of holding the pouch and stuffing it all in a but at at time, but I found the fold and roll approach gets you a consistently smaller bundle at the end.The jacket is also very light and about as breathable as can be expected in something meant to keep you dry.

This seemed like a really nice coat - waterproof, lightweight, wind friendly, nice color, etc but after trying it on you could just tell the sizing wasn’t quite right. My husband likes. Little extra room in jackets so I ordered the normal size I would to account for that. He was swimming in it width wise and it wasn’t really long enough. He has other Columbia coats in this size and none of them are this wide. The length is comparable so I think the proportion issue.We return very few items as we carefully plan out our purchases and we returned this one so that should tell you a lot.If you found this useful, make sure to click helpful/yes so others like you see this.

Nice rain jacket. The fit is just what I wanted. I am able to wear a sweatshirt under the jacket on cold rainy days.

I purchased this coat for a person 6'4" and 315 lbs. Fits like a charm! He needed something light weight that would keep him dry in the rain ~ and this was just the item! Well constructed, looks nice and professional, and looks fitted.

Perfect fitting and keeps you dry. It isn’t too hot either.

As far as it being a rain jacket and keeping rain off you, it's 5 star. I worked outside during hurricane Mathews for about an hour and not a drop went through. The only thing I'd change is to put some kind of mesh on the inside of the sleeves. It does not breathe and my arms sweat very quickly. Like I said though as a rain jacket it's an A+.

J'en ai acheté deux avec une année qui les séparent et tout les deux ne sont pas imperméable a la pluie moyenne. Même avec une petite pluie après une heure je suis mouillé surtout sur les épaules et les bras.Je le conseil plus pour un coupe vent pour les journées brumeuses
