Roger Taylor: best? Roger Taylor: GREAT!
Would have liked to have had a few more of his earlier songs on this release, but I guess they want me to buy the albums FUN IN SPACE and STRANGE FRONTIER, which, I will. But I really enjoyed the newer ones.• "Testify" finally on an LP? YES! Women and drinking, loving and thinking ,they do it to Roger every time! • God help us all, we're a ... "Nation of Haircuts"! and Roger thinks your a groovy dude. • A stylophone solo on "The Unblinking Eye (Everything Is Broken)"? Yes please! ... "Man On Fire", "Future Management (You Don't Need Nobody Else)", "Surrender", "No More Fun" all cool songs."People On Streets" should have been included on this set. I like it because he names names. Roger is pissed off. Roger is pissed off on a lot of his songs. And he's pissed about how lame and stupid and un-fun the world is today. Pissed at politicians, pissed at other "musicians". Don't get me wrong, you'll hear a lot of this anger on this 2 LP set, so don't worry! But you'll also get a lot of beautifully written and played songs as well. What? It's not all just angst? You mean Roger has more than one thing to say? Well he does. And I appreciate that. For the price and the yellow vinyl... it's a pretty sweet package! Roger Taylor is an underrated musician and lyricist. I admire him for musically taking chances and being experimental. He does what he wants and I can't ask for anything more. Good pressing, good packaging. Recommended.

Roger Taylor at his...Well, BEST!
If you want the very best of Roger Taylor solo, but can't afford "The Lot" which contains all of Roger's solo work plus his work with The Cross, this is the album for you. All of these songs were hand-chosen by Roger himself and it's a wonderful collection of his amazing solo career. It includes my favorite which is Foreign Sands co-written with famous Japanese composer, Yoshiki. Other favorites are Let's Get Crazy, Strange Frontier, Man On Fire, and Beautiful Dreams. You won't be disappointed with this album purchase. Roger's amazing voice is highlighted on each and every track. I can't recommend it enough.

Bad albums can make a good song compillation
The "best of" records are, most of the times, just a move from the record companies to sell records from not so well know artists, like Mr. Taylor. But in this case, efforts like these are welcomed because Roger Talylor's music career are, at their best, mediocre.Roger is a good drummer. his voice aren't great, but it works so well in his Queen & solo records; but this is not enough to fill, from time to time, an entire "new" álbum. Oh yes! of course there are some good songs in such albums like Fun In Space, Strange Frontier, Happiness? or even in his last opus "Fun on Earth"; so... why not just put together this songs on one LP? It will be a nice for those who don't know Taylor's solo music and for those who had ALL their records; it will be a relief to put on other hands the decisión to purge a lot of bad albums into a good collection of songs... so, thats why I give 5 stars to this álbum.

Listen to it over and over
I find the more I listen to this CD, the more I like it. Roger has that sultry rock voice. He is more political in his own music, but I find myself quickly singing along to his songs. Would have liked to have seen "old friends" included on this best of collection. I love that tribute song to Freddie from his best buddy Roger...

He chose them as his best, and he knows!
Very nice album, I now have it in my car (appropriately) and I do love the sound of Roger's voice. That raspy voice is perfect for the rocking numbers, and his thoughtful, lyrical songs are lovely as well. I love his take on the world. Should satisfy any beginning or aged fan (like me). Good selections, good sound.

recently purchased Roger's Best album. I really find it hard to describe what his music and his voice mean to me. His interpretations of his songs are to heartfelt and beautiful! I love Queen and quite frankly became a bigger fan because of Adam Lambert. But I have to say Roger has stolen my heart. Such deep vibes. I love you Roger!

I love Queen and I grew up listening to all their albums. But WOW I had no idea How good Roger Taylor's albums are. I would go as far as saying his are are some of the best solo efforts by any of Queen's band members. Check his greatest hits first. I bought the 180 gram pressing and they sound great. If your not into vinyl buy the CD !!!

Alles Roger....

The Best.

Anspieltipps: Future management, Man on Fire, nazis 1994 und Happiness. Tolles Album.

Roger Rocks! (full-length Unblinking Eye!)
This compilation includes the full-length version of "The Unblinking Eye", (the version which unusually wasn't on the album)! Yippee, bring on the rock guitars!I kind of wish that "Turn on the TV" could have accompanied "I Wanna Testify" on this CD, because the only version of it I have on CD is a bootleg (sorry, Roger!) and I would much prefer an official version. But never mind all that! Turn it up and "Let's Get Crazy"! :-)
