Works as advertised. The larger 300 amp size is too large and heavy unless you need the capability to weld at high amperage.

Definitely not a Tweco product.
It’s used for light welding projects. Grooves in the jaws are shallow for larger electrodes.

Easy to install on my cable .
Sturdy enough for the type of welding I do.

Solid design
This holder is solid and well made. It even came with an allen wrench for tightening the cable clamp. I like theat it has a strong spring that clamps nice and tight on the rod.

Needed modification
The spring has a little cylindrical cover. This cover ran into the handle cover and kept me from being able to open the jaws fully until I had dremeled some clearance.Otherwise it's fine.

already opened when i got it
well lets start off with who ever shipped it put it in my neighbor's mailbox , then i opened it and it was already oopened and taped back together. when i buy somethin i want it unopened not already tampered with
