F.A. Granules by Heska. 450 grams

Now you know why you can't find Heska F.A. Granules anymore. The manufacturer discontinued them, or at least that's what I'm told by my vet.I contacted the company, which still advertises the granules on their website, if it's true that they aren't making it anymore.If they aren't, that isn't good at all, because Heska granules made a miraculous change in my dog. She was having problems with itching and her coat, and also problems walking. A week after taking the granules, she was walking fine, and her coat is amazing - silky, shiny, and just gorgeous! There's also a ton less hair floating around, so it apparently helps in hair retention, and the itches are gone.Please, Heska, bring this back! Meanwhile, I've got the list of ingredients in the granules, and I'm going to try to replicate it in her diet (which is going to be a lot of work and a lot more expensive.)

Our vet gave me a jar of this stuff a few years back, and my pup has had it mixed in with every meal, for the entirety of his adult life. It sort of smells like coffee and my pup seems to enjoy the taste. Who knows though? He'll eat anything and everything.He's still fairly young, and in perfect health, so he hasn't had any reason to go to the vet lately. Once he ran out of the last jar I started to notice a bit of a change in his coat after a month or so. I honestly thought he was just a very well bred dog, but this stuff makes a difference as far as I'm concerned. I was too busy to go all the way to the vet so I just ordered from these folks. Shipping was quick and they also gave me a free sample of joint health chews. Like I said my buddy is very healthy, so I don't particularly need them. Nonetheless, it was a nice gesture.

Roxie The Dog has been on Heska F.A. Granules for about a year and her soft, healthy looking hair and skin are a pleasure to touch. Her short copper coat shines so much that she draws compliments even from people who see her all the time. Rox has allergies that occasionally crop up in the form of spots and itching on her belly. Our veterinarian tells us that both probably would be much worse if it weren't for the F.A. Granules. Oh, yeah . . . Rox believes the granules are an extra treat in her bowl and vacuums up every last one. Yum!

I fed this product to my dog for a couple of months, but I really didn't see any change in his skin or coat. He was still as itchy as before I started him on it. Also, it smells pretty bad, sort of like stale cooking grease. The dog didn't seem to mind it, though. I wouldn't buy it again.

I've been ordering multiple tubs of the Heska granules from Entirely Pets for months now. It's obvious, by my repeat orders, that the product is wonderful (it has really cut back on the shedding from my pups). Add to that the fast delivery from Entirely Pets, these many transactions have been a complete win/win! I highly recommend both the product and the vendor.

Product gives my dog severe gas, no idea why. Otherwise, it seems to be a great product that shined up my ridgeback's coat. It is said to help with prostate and sperm quality which my dog was having troubles with. I haven't done a recheck yet.I would like to see product sold in larger containers.

I have a sleek, black great dane who, like many dogs, have dander issues in the drier, winter months; but just a few days on this product, and the flakes are gone. Our dog loves the smell and taste of the granules, although I find the smell repugnant. Experiment with the amount given to your dog; my dog is only 120 lbs. I give a scoop in the morning on top of her food, and then a scoop on her evening meal too, and this is all it takes. The directions on the tub say to give a lot more than needed. We love this product. We have used it for years starting with our first dane, and will continue to use it because it is the most effective product we have found for the dander problem.

These F.A. Granules by Heska keep both of my large dogs from shedding and keep their itching to non existent. It is easy to put their powder in there two meals a day and the cost is about half of what you will pay if you purchase it from the vet. So, if you have a dog with itchy skin, dry skin, or losing coat, this is just wonderful. I have been using it on my dogs for 5-yrs and they have beautiful, thick, itch free coats.
