Not worth the price
I am an entry-level Samskrit student. In order to supplement a very rudimentary Samskrit dictionary, I bought this dictionary based on external recommendations. However, I was misled by the title. The Apte dictionary that is generally recommended and is many times better than this book is called "The Practical Sanskrit-English dictionary - Revised and Enlarged edition". This book does not do a good job of indicating the grammatical form of the words which in my opinion is as important as defining the meaning in English. This book is a cheap Indian Edition and is definitely not worth the price tag it comes with. The paper is very low quality, the print is barely visible on some pages and the cover was practically peeling-off right out of the box. I am returning my copy.

Print quality of Practical Sanskrit Eng. dictionary.
.This book is hotmetal letterpress composed book.It does not have the clarity of photo composed text.It was composed in 1965 when hotmetal composing was prevalent.Since the book was printed in 2014 it should have had been photo typeset and printed on offset.Reading for elderly is a pain.

Poor quality
Print quality is pretty poor - it looks like a photographic reprint rather than properly typeset. Not worth it now that these dictionaries are online for free. I gave mine away and use the online version now.
