I can't believe I used to pay $10 or more per pair at the mall kiosks for these exact earrings!These aren't top-of-the-line quality, they are plastic caps with threaded rod connectors and rubber o-rings on the outside (some of which might crack or break with age); however, they look great and are a great deal!I was so surprised when I realized how inexpensive these were online! I've been buying "fake gauges" from mall kiosks for years, and when I found this item on amazon, I was thrilled! I got all of the colors shown in the picture and they were pretty similar in color to what you see.My first complaint is the fact that the o-rings begin to show signs of degradation after several months. They begin to dry out and get cracks in them.My second complaint is that the threaded holes in the plastic aren't perfect. There is no seating point (where the threads "click" and stop), in stead, when screwing them together, they just get tighter and tighter and tighter until, if you keep twisting, they break (plastic shatters). I've learned where the right spot is to tighten them; however, some people might break a few pairs before getting the hang of it. Just be gentle, you're not bolting together a car.

Not that great. The black rubber piece around the gauge came off on every single pair. That took away from the look. Some gauges have fallen out. I would spring for the metal ones!

I've had plastic ones like this before. I know over time they eventually crack. Usually months to years though. Firstly the threads are very insecure, so even threading gently they don't really hold. But even knowing that if I thread too tight it could break, they broke instantly the first time I tried to put one on. Plan on getting a refund. I only ordered them because the wood/metal ones I bought from this store were very good quality. But this is as poor quality as it gets.

Perfect for those young teenagers that think the they won't regret a body altering decision when they are looking for a career 10 years from now. They give the gauged effect without the terrible smell, lasting effect of the stretched out drooping earlobes or the regrets sure to come at an adult age

They break really easily. I got about one use per pair, on average.

For rubber band problems apply small amount of clear finger nail polish or tiny amount of super glue to bands and they will not come off

They’re cute but cheap quality. Good to wear for once because they break very easily.

These are so cute and really comfortable. I slept in them a couple of nights and didnt even realize I had and I can never sleep in earrings.
