worked perfect
super fast cpu for the price

Works as Expected
I was concerned that the CPU came in a brown box and not Intel packaging. I was not sure if it was going to work.It worked as expected.

Absolute GigaChad. Runs Hot.
To be fair, I upgraded from an i7-8700; this cpu is blazing fast and i've only ever gotten up to 80% usage running 3 intensive games at once. I do have one of those beefy Noctua dual fan coolers to keep temps low and stable ( 27°C idle, in general staying around 60°C), as this heats up fast. Make sure you get a proper cooler, as a standard heatsink single fan cooler was pushing 85°C at 35% usage.

10 Cores 20 threads, do you really need a deka core cpu?
Intel is picking up speed with these new cpu's after the X-series hit the market, soon enough they'll have cpus's as good as the X-series at a much better value. I like this CPU a lot it can run through new installations, updates, and any other cpu heavy tasks like no other. Although it uses a lot of power, the extra speed feels worth the extra wattage used. I used this cpu to run console emulation and it does very well, I think it could do ok to run ps4 emulation but I hadn't tried it. Most games seem to run a bit faster than usual though, this can be a concern if you play games where you need quick timing/reaction speed like in first person shooters. It may be better to use a standard eight core or six core cpu if game speed is a concern. Overall I"d give this item five stars, I can't wait to build a new Rocket Lake computer!

Buena opción para un upgrade sin gastar mucho
Llego sellado y nuevo, el precio es muy bueno y vale la pena si ya tienes una motherboard 10th gen y no quieres cambiar esta ni la ram

Know what it's to be used for
As of now, this CPU is still the fastest clocked and DDR optimized CPU I could buy. I bought this CPU for math applications, photo editing, digital audio applications, and, of course, gaming. I didn't prioritize video rendering and graphic creative applications highly nor was I much interested in onboard video and graphics capability through the CPU. And, important to note, I paid substantially less at the time of my purchase, by about 200 USD less than the 600-plus USD I'm seeing right now. For my uses and the price I paid this CPU is nothing short of eleven stars. However, had I different priorities for the CPU I'd probably have favored the AMD chips.Just a few notes: Buy a well-reviewed MB (I chose a MSI MEG Ace); second, buy a well-reviewed CPU cooler that's been tested with this CPU (I chose the Arctic 280mm AIO); and third, use a PC case that optimizes the cooling choice performance. I wouldn't spend several hundred on a CPU, then opt for cheap key components that facilitate CPU function. And yes, a discrete GPU is necessary for this CPU, but here one can wait for the upgrade and use a currently owned GPU if the budget requires.

Great performance, but runs VERY HOT
I upgraded from an Intel Core i5-10400F, and the increase in performance was pretty significant. In Valheim, in a particular area where my frame rate was low due to a lot of placed objects, I doubled my frame rate with the new CPU.However, this CPU is a FURNACE. I’ve never had issues with overheating before, and I fully dusted my PC with compressed air and an airbrush before putting in the new CPU. After putting it in, I constantly hit temps up to 100°. This is on me, as I should have done some more research before purchasing the top-of-the-line Intel CPU for 10th-gen motherboards. If you’re thinking about purchasing this product, I would highly recommend overspending on a case with great airflow and a beefy AIO water cooling system to keep the temperature of your CPU at safe levels.
