Bear in mind it's a budget solution
I picked my daughter up a Jumper laptop during lockdown (she's 9) for her schoolwork and was impressed with what it did for the price. Build quality was a little plasticky and there's a rubber keymat to hide the US keyboard, but it did everything she needed and handled Minecraft so I couldn't complain.I found myself looking at Chromebooks recently, wanting something I could flip over to use as a tablet but all the decent solutions were really expensive. Then I spotted this for about half the price and took a punt. I've been using it for a few days and I'm pretty happy with it, but will focus on the shortcomings. Remember, it's cheap and most of these issues are minor but they're things that stuck out to me. First thing to mention, though, is the build quality. It's way better than my daughter's laptop, pretty solid, and still very lightweight. It is very realistically usable as a tablet. There is still a US keyboard covered with a (removable) rubber keyboard sleeve that can be removed. Indeed, flip it into tablet mode and the cover falls off... so you'll need somewhere to store it! This is a big shame as the actual keyboard is lovely and great to type on. Mind, it's really only the £, @ and " you need to worry about and touch typers won't have a problem. The screen isn't as big as you'd hope due to a fairly this strip at the bottom with the Windows logo on. This can be a good place to hold onto the screen in tablet mode, I guess, and I stopped noticing it after a while. As a touch screen it's pretty responsive and accurate. It also feels nice to tap and swipe. The only real issue I noticed was when I was playing around in Paint. If I swiped and circled too quickly, the results were curves with corners. Image quality is good and I've watched a fair bit of video on it.Sound is a bit of an issue, though, with the speakers not being the best. Even on full some videos were a little too quiet, and others with decent amplification were a bit distorted. Still, pop in headphones (there is a socket, or bluetooth works) and you're sorted.Talking of sockets, these are limited. There is USB-C for charging, and I assume connectivity. In addition there is a mini-HDMI for screen output and a micro-USB. There's no regular USB port, though I don't see how you could include one and still have the unit as thin as it is! So expect to need a breakout box or adapter cable to attach any hardware. Finally there is a Micro-SD card slot in the side which is handy, but I found it a little fiddly getting the card in. You need to slide it in at exactly the right angle, but once you get the knack it's fine.Battery life is around what's quoted - 5-ish hours of general use seems roughly what I'm getting. This is fine as it's used mainly around the house and classroom so I can charge it when I need to.In terms of performance, look at the spec. It does what you'd expect of something with that CPU and RAM configuration. For me... that's pretty much all I want. Office, a bit of video streaming, registering classes and so on. For the price, I'm pretty happy. Hope this helps someone![EDIT] I had a couple of queries about the laptop and contacted their customer service who were really good. Quick, accurate and friendly. Worth the extra star.

Great build quality, perfect for office and web browsing
Perfect laptop for office work and casual web browsing and school work. There’s a lot to love about this laptop and I feel it is one of the best value laptop money can buy.Firstly I would like to point out the processor this laptop runs on. Item description does not specify what it is. The machine has a Intel Celeron CPU J3455, 4 cores at 1.50 GHz and 6GB Ram.Build quality: the best thing about this laptop is the build quality. Feels very solid and assembled well and tight. No flimsy connection. When the screen is opened at 360 degrees, it sit flush. No gaps between the back of the monitor and bottom of the laptop. I like that they put the volume control on the side of the laptop. Never liked using the Fn function to change the volume. The screen is good. Touch screen is very responsive, navigating through web pages felt natural and easy. Sharpness is very good. Watching movies on it was a good experience in general. The screen would have benefited greatly if it had a brighter screen and the screen suffers from reflections. During dark scenes, I can see the reflection of my surrounding. In the dark, it wasn’t an issue. Web browsing and office work, it wasn’t a problem at all, it is built and designed for that. The sound is good. As you would expect from an 11” laptop. I would recommend speakers or connecting to a headphones, especially if you have noisy environment. The keyboard is the biggest issue I had. It is bearable, no doubt. But before getting used the keyboard, it wasn’t a good experience. Firstly, it has American keyboard layout. To solve the problem, the laptop comes with a rubber keyboard cover. I didn’t enjoy typing on the rubber cover. Much preferred the base keyboard or an external keyboard. Get up keyboard stickers, and stick them on the relevant keys. The keyboard just didn’t have the satisfaction when typing. Difficult to explain, it just didn’t feel good. You get used to it and becomes normal. This might be because I normally use a normal keyboard daily. Mouse and camera functioned well. The mouse pad is a decent area. Note, this does not have any usb. You need a USB C Hub dock to attach any normal USB devices.Performance: as stated at the start. This has a Intel Celeron CPU J3455 processor. Browsing the web and watch video, even at 4K, is handles very well. You will experience some stuttering when you scroll down a page quickly, but it’s not something that will spoil the experience. The processor can handle playing casual games and graphic hungry and fast paced games like asphalt 9, but on low or very low graphical setting. On either setting, it will run smooth enough. The main thing I use the laptop for is office work, excel and word mainly. It feels it was built for this. Runs office very well. Opens files quickly with very little delay. No issues with office work at all. Fast 5 GHz connection to the WiFi router.A very well built laptop for office and web browsing. Build and feel of a small MacBook. At around £300, it is great value
