Having had several vacuum cleaners over the years, have found that as I get older, some are insanely heavy and decided on buying a portable vacuum cleaner.The Vax ONEPWR Blade 3 Pet Cordless Vacuum Cleaner with Motorised Pet Tool is a really excellent machine - it is versatile and with the motorised heads, works on carpets and hard floors with ease.Very surprised how much dust and dirt this machine picks up, it’s just fantastic.Two issues however - it’s a little top-heavy so after a while it is uncomfortable to use, and the battery run time isn’t great, especially if you use the motorised heads - probably get 15 minutes use before needing to recharge. That said, that’s more than enough to vacuum the whole house and more.Also excellent at vacuuming the car, so very pleased and thoroughly recommend.

For a cordless vaccume this is a very good cleaner both for hard floors and carpets. It is top end heavy and can be difficult doing things like blinds and long use. As long as you have a clean home and look after your stuff they will treat you well. Suction power is good especially with the rotating brush but need to keep all parts clean. If you don't get time to regularly clean it's obvious to use a proper wired vaccume as it's obviously not an industrial type cleaner. Had problem with the plug end of the charger and Amazon were exceptionally gr8 and offered a free replacment as it was only 7 months old. Did have to get rid of 1st person I got on phone as he was talking total nonsense telling me that onepowr chargers were no longer made and he cant do anything but once I got transferred to someone else who was extremely helpful from the start and got replacement within days, Thank You Amazon!! Overall very happy with product and customer care.

Higher suction you use less battery time, hard floors suction good and battery lasts approx 30minWith brushes going lasts about 20min with boost on for thick pile carpet only about 15minBut very pleased with performence over all, retired so home all time so can do ground floor one day and upstairsanother, would be useful to have 2 batteries if you need to do all at once. Nice stand alone charger which only takes 2hours to rechargeUpdate, battery now not able to charge, red flashing light saying defective, only 9months old, not sure if its battery or charger. To get both replaced cost £100.

I don’t normally bother with reviews, but please don’t waste your money… This is the most awful product. I thought the offer was a good price, but it’s cheaply made (cheap brittle plastic components and bits falling off it), really quite heavy for a hand-held and the body of the cleaner is also quite bulky.I’ve had Dyson cordless before but have seen a lot of reviews saying they’re over priced, so I thought I’d try a new model when I had to replace mine and this one had a good balance of reviews. That was a silly mistake as I will now look for another Dyson.I’ve only had this one for 3 months and really only used it for 2 as I had a builder in so thought I’d run the old one down with the builders dust so as not to ruin the new one. The old one has been stripped down and cleaned and is STILL in better condition and doing a better job than this pile of cheap rubbish!

The performance of this vacuum is ok, as long as you have it on boost mode. Unfortunately, this drains the battery very quickly so you only get about 15 minutes before it has to be recharged. I also found it to be very heavy, far heavier than I expected from a cordless cleaner. The dust container is easy to empty and clean but detaching the stick from the motor in order to use in the car etc. always made me worry that it would break as it seems very brittle. My fears were indeed justified, as after having it for only 2 months, and only using it for my family room, the wand part snapped where it attaches to the motor end and the machine no longer works. Thankfully, Amazon were very helpful and arranged to have it collected and a refund processed for it.I wouldn’t buy this particular model again as it’s too heavy and the battery life is poor.

The product itself is good, but don't buy this from Amazon.When the product arrived it was faulty. I contacted customer support and was told on 2 separate occasions that I would get a refund and that I didn't have to return the product as it was faulty. Because of this I bought another one which works great. Fast forward 3 months after my initial purchase and I was told today they can't give me a refund before I return the product. I have already got rid of the product as it was faulty and it has taken them 3 months to change their minds on the status of my refund.In summary I would recommend the product, but please buy it from anywhere else!

It is heavy as others have said but not unmanageable, although for overhead work it's borderline.Would give 5 stars if not for battery life, but I leave it on charge between uses. It can do my whole house on the middle setting with a short burst of max if required. Obviously it's not as powerful as my Miele cable vax but for ease of use it's fine for everyday.
